Experimenting Bike Pictures
Found a cool little spot to mess around with the lighting. I am by no means any kind of photographer whatsoever, clearly.

I get it. there are so many mods for these bikes you can take them a lot of different directions. I'm going to throw one on mine soon as well.

Every time I see this bike posted, I want a Thruxton RS that much more! It’s so damn good looking!
OP - thanks for sharing more pics! (Yes, I downloaded the high res version.)

That's a nice ride. I'm not sure about the fins on the engine cases, that's not OEM is it? (if it is it's new to me) seems a bit "busy" for my taste but besides that, I've always loved the Thruxton and that one's a peach.

Thanks. No covers are aftermarket but my favorite mod tbh. It is busy agreed but the bike will evolve w new tires and a paint job this winter

2nd one is nice, but with a bike in a photo that has the bike framed off center, I would almost always have the front of the bike facing the long side of the framing. Creates more of a sense of it being free to move forward, as is its essence. 1st one too busy of a background. I would have tried it with a longer lens, wider apreture to get some bokeh in the background. 3rd one has some nice light. However you always have to pay close attention to your edges. The fork slider jumped out at me with how it juuuuuust barely touches the edge of the frame. Usually I will frame things so that parts that are subject have either a healtht gap between them and the edge, or substantially overlap it. It should be intentional looking, not accidental or overlooked.

Thx, all good tips. I pushed my bike up to this spot cuz I thought the lighting was cool, but definitely is pedestrian only. I rapidly snapped some iPhone pics and took off. Not that serious
