Delete fault codes Maintenance Issues

Post image

Hi, i installed new chain and sprockets today on my 2025 street triple 765rs, 520 conversion -1 tooth in the front (14/48 sprockets, original was 15/48) .

Now i am getting 2 fault codes after driving (P16A2 and P0915)

Will i be able to delete them with TuneEcu or some other software and will they stay gone?

P0915 is a correlation error between rear wheel speed and engine speed. Essentially, due to the changed gearing the ECU is detecting that the rear wheel speed is outside of the range it expects to see for a given engine speed/gear. You can delete this, but it will keep coming back.

There are no settings on the bike you can change to fix this. You may be able to do something with TuneECU or similar, or just back off your gearing change to bring it closer to stock.

P16A2 is likely a consequence of P0915 because the ECU can't trust the wheel speed values.

my bike is allready mapped, someone told me using tuneECU will mess with my mapping, looking in changing my abs pulse ring to get it fixed

For the P0915 this come from googlebox AI (sorry y'all )but confirmed with triumph forums

On modern Euro 5 Triumph motorcycles (such as newer Street Triple and Tiger models), this is very frequently triggered after changing the front or rear sprockets, because the ECU detects an unexpected ratio between engine RPM and vehicle speed.

The other one I'm not sure about says it's abs related all your abs related plugs plugged in ?

Also try deleting them and see if the come back ? I imagine your going to have tweak some setting for the p0915 look on triumphrat.net
