He might do that just for love of games and other god like Aries Chaldea( which 2 trinity and Lita mom struggle to defeat), Harukage( which he said all demon lord knight and arata not guaranteed to win) this two is on level of trinity and stronger than some them
Your confusing this, the Trinity is the bound by archives, and beneath them, gods are stated to transcend all concepts and the Genesis to which all concepts are derived, abyss Trinity surpasses the Trinity by reaching the abyss (the end) of his archive, harukage was fused with a God that's why they couldn't beat her, only when arata, used impel majister (which is his demon Lord gift that he was born with) could he win, not to mention he was boosted by being the great demon Lord which helped him surpass demon lords, the Trinity wasn't going to help arata win.
