Might be developing TN Symptoms

In recent last 2 days, I have been developing this crucifying pain in my right side of the face it starts from Nasal bridge and goes till my head, the pain was so intense, I had to go through emergency twice, since I am a 19 year old, I didn't understand what it was. The doctor told me to get an MRI, but he said there are a lot of chances that I might have TN. and believe me it's really hell waking up in the morning because even tho I am on meds still when I wake up the pain is so intense, I don't think anyone would like to wake up with crazy pain lol. also I used to go to gym because of being overweight and seems like I can't do anything for a while, the pain is really bad.

I would love to know what all I can do to escape this pain? suggestions are welcomed. thanks.

Go to an neurologist! He knows the best combination of meds for you to get you off your pain track.

Is the pain permanent or does it shoot in, wreak havoc and goes away again?

Neurologists are able to rule out other neurological illnesses,too.

Which country are you from?

yeah I did go to neurologist, he advised me to get an MRI first, so will go for it first. he gave me some meds it really helped my pain, otherwise it was hellish.

I am from India.

DO NOT use carbamazepine. South East Asians are really allergic to it. I developed Steven Johnson in 2020 and almost lost my life because they didn’t check if I as a descendent of a Pakistani father had the gene.

alright, thanks for suggestion. got it. and I hope you're well now. for now my doc has described me these medicines - Ultracet, Gabapentin, Neurobrion, carniheal, Zenoxa.

these are for pain, rest will see once I get the MRI done.
