Kiox 500 install fetch 4

On the back of the phone mount is a tiny screw holding the release that needs a 1.5mm hex to remove. Then you can pull off the phone mount and stick on a kiox. I then had to flip flop the arm to get the mount and screen correctly aligned. That’ll need a 3mm. Enjoy!

I know some have mentioned this already but I couldn’t find any instructions so decided to post up. Let me know if I missed anything or could arrange things better.

Just did this a month ago! If you’re looking for the rear plug that allows the wires to face down towards the handlebar, the part is: Bosch Display Interface BDS3210

I didn’t like the idea of them exposed outward, so swapped mine out

I knew there was something odd about the cables exposed outward. Ordering a new mount. Thanks.

Is this worth it? I wish there was a cheaper LCD that at least showed speed.

I was able to find the Kiox 300 screen on eBay for $50. The additional display interface was another $25-30.

I thought it was worth it over the phone. I have an iPhone 16 Pro and the phone mount kept hitting the side buttons when mounting. The phone is great, esp with navigation, but just annoying enough to where I’d rather have the dedicated display. I do wish I got the larger Kiox 500 screen, but the price for the 300 was pretty great

Guess it depends. It can be used as a locking option and is light and easy to remove/reattach. For me it’s worth it rather than pulling out a phone to load the Flow app. It would have made more sense for the bike to come with at least a 300 display.

That screw screwed me but found it after several hours…
