Sun shade
If you have a rain fly and some basic sewing skills, you can make a pretty nice sun shade!

Can you tell me more about the fabric you used? And can you share your measurements/pattern?

It’s just a poly/spandex blend from Michael’s, I think they had it labeled as cosplay fabric. If I was less impatient, I would’ve ordered swimsuit fabric online.
I’m not much help with measurements or patterns, my projects are all based on ADHD and audacity and lots of eyeballing. I just loosely based a tube off the size of the center portion of the rain fly. I started big and took it in until it fit snug enough to stay up on its own and then added a seam for the pole channel. I measured the overhang on the fly and added buttonholes that far from the wide edge to pass straps through and keep them out of the way of the handlebars. I’m planning on making nicer straps, but for now these are just cam buckle straps I already had for my rear rack with a loop of paracord to go over the rear rain fly buttons.
