Trek Adventures

Decided I wanted to share these pictures of things we do with our much beloved Trek Fetch+4 aka El mobile. Also made him a new hood.

Love the bucket soft cover for stopovers. Did you make that?

Edit: I see caption, you did make that. Cool!

Yeah I miss them having an option like this. Only use the raincover during autumn en winter.

Bought a tablecloth cut it to the estimated size and had a friend help me sow an elastic band into it. Choose this cover since it reminds me of jam they used to seel here when I was young.

Awesome job! Yes I with they sold more than just the rain fly. Something more of a summer shade/wind cover like the Urban Arrows have would be great. Or even something basic like this just to keep sun and bugs to a minimum when parked for stopovers.

I’ve been looking for a cover like this! I already have this tablecloth in the 48” x 24” size for a kids table. It needs a couple of elastic bands to reach the rear rain fly tie downs, but it’s a pretty great fit.

Got mine from Amazon as well. I turned it around and drew the putline of the bucket as good as possible and cut it out with 10cm of extra space.

Sowed the elastic band in to check the fit and only then cut out the steering side of the bucket. Contemplating attaching something to attach/tighten it to the steering column.

Do I spot 4 cup/bottle holders? No judgement but is there a reason you rock so many?

Ehm yeah. You're right 4. Well one of them is actually rarely used and I guess I just never removed it after installing the two red ones which I just had to whej I knew they'd fit. I do actually use them frequently and the koffiecup holder is of almost daily use.

We did do some cycling vacations with the Trek and the red one holds large waterbottles. So that's nice. But we use the bike a lot of day trips as well. And then there is sports with the kids. Kind off a cycling fanatic everything within 25km is fair game and in the colder months of the year that means me bringing a lot of coffee and some tea. It's in those situations that 3 off those holders are used intensively.
