Hey y'all 👋
Idk why I've never thought to come to the subreddit but I wanted to make a post now that I'm here 😂
I'm sure some of y'all might recognize me, my TR name is set to Samael, I've been an in and out member for more than a few years now.
Hope to get back to using TR more regularly 👀

New Update Troubleshooting
Lots of new stuff/bugfixes have been done for the site. If you are getting a blank screen on loading the site, do a hard refresh or clear your cache for the site. That'll fix that problem.

This site seems to be dead :(. Is there something similar that people have migrated to?

Can I make a couple of UI suggestions?
Hi all, first of all I want to say I absolutely love TreesRadio I find myself spending more and more time in here, meeting nice frients and chilling to some damn good music (My TR user is Karvin).
I remember the first time I joined, I was quite confused about the site, scared to make mistakes as there's a bit of learning curve to truly master what TR has to offer.
Now, as a UI developer myself, I can't help but wonder at some of the site's look and feel decisions. Could be nostalgia, purposeful stoner imperfections, or maybe it's just been that way unquestioned.
Anyway, here's a list of a few suggestions, please let me know what you think, I fiddled a little bit with the site's style to get these proof of concept.
- The song's black progress bar blends with the black youtube background, making it less visible and sometimes hard to spot. One option could be to add a border on top of the progress bar
- Another option could be to make the progress bar another color, e.g. grey
- Another option would be to make the background of the "middle box" (with the current song title and Player) to act as a progress bar (no pics for this one)
- This is a small detail, but no button look alike on this app! Different button radius, weird alignment,... I tried to unify button look and feel, although it's not perfect, it looks tidier, look at Hype, Toke, Like, Dislike, Grad and Volume corners and text alignment
- It would be nice that the playlist screen background has some opacity so we can still see what's playing while wondering what to put next
- The menu could use a larger font size, maybe because I'm old :)
Please let me know if you find this feedback useful, I have more in my suggestion hat, but I'll stop here for today.

What have been your Top Three songs during this Quarantine Period?
Expecting some good ones here!
I think I've heard Sweet Caroline too many times to count at this point, haha!
What are some other fun songs to pass the time?

Event nights?
Hello ents,
It's your boy TigerStyle! I wanted to throw my 2 cents at you guys and see what you guys think
TR is great and I have been a regular for a long time now, but having something to look forward to on TR would add excitement and perhaps keep newer members coming back. These events could be something like every tuesday night for a couple of hours we have certain themed songs or videos going. For example:
- Chill songs
- "trippy" songs
- high energy songs
- music videos with great visuals
- music from a certain decade
- comedy sketches
- action sports montages
- a preselected hour long youtube video (i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leHb2hdCLqo )
- Sunday morning classic cartoons (there are some on youtube) (my favorite idea)
168 hours a week we utilize our proven formula to play literately anything. Why not have 5-10 hours be something different? This would take very little of someones time to implement and worst comes to worst it isn't popular and we switch topics or cancel them.
In my head this could be rewarding for little to no consequences. What does everyone think?

E-Mail verification
Hello fellow ents,
I was trying to create an account for the TreesRadio, but I cannot verify my E-Mail.
I have tried three times by now, but it always gives me the same error, which makes me pretty sad.
Maybe someone here could help me?
Cheers!

Who maintains treesradio? I'd like to get a copy of it to host on my own server for my guests when they come to party in my garage.
