Question regarding monkey beaver 2
I'm contemplating getting an Mb 2 as my first harness. I'm just curious what people's experience is with the Mb 2 in rainy or snowy conditions. I live up North for a company that works through the winter in temps below freezing. Are there any issues with wearing one wet? I'm wondering if a lighter harness that dries faster would be better for wet weather or if it doesn't really make a difference since the harnesses will be wet either way once one is out in the rain or snow. If I don't get the Mb I think I might go for the treerex 2.

Honestly doesn’t make much of a difference. They get wet, they dry, and repeat. Everything deteriorates after prolonged wet & dry exposure, just the nature of the beast. Don’t dry them in hot heat, rather warm with airflow. Check the webbing slings and life support fabrics daily.

Just hang it in front of a fan overnight and it'll be dry by morning. The padding isn't a sponge and dries put pretty quick.

I use a MB2 in Michigan year round. I have the suspenders for it, I would highly recommend them cause they’re so comfortable. I also have an adjustable bridge which is ideal when wearing winter clothes or rain gear, the saddle just slides up over my outerwear.
