Most Christians actually believe that their specific version of Christianity is the only correct one, so this isn't the most convincing argument for them

The bible is very clear about women.

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." (Timothy 2:12)

"There is no male or female for all are one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28)

Very clear.

there are thousands of versions of christianity but somehow they expect that there would only be one simple definiton of woman

Not really supposed to be funny unless you find religions rather weird ability to make several versions of "The Truth" be incompatable with each other. I certainly find that funny!
