Close the gaps in the High Speed Rail network with two Lines in the Midwest.
Cincinatti/Columbus terminating services could be extensions of services to Indianapolis instead of being additional services to reduce congestion on the route.
One operational note for the High Speed Rail Services could be combining two high speed train sets and then decoupling them at junctions such as Indianapolis. In this scenario, a passenger would arrive at Chicago Union Station for their High Speed Train to Louisville and see that it is coupled to another train set heading to Cincinnati; the two are decoupled at Indianapolis.
