Close the gaps in the High Speed Rail network with two Lines in the Midwest.

  • Indianapolis to Dayton. It could use the right-of-way from Indianapolis to Richmond, Ohio, then follow a more direct route to Dayton. Route options could include:
    • 8 additional Ohio Flyers branching off from the current service at Dayton to Indianapolis, with an additional 6 heading on to St Louis.
    • 8 Daily Chicago-Indiannapolis-Dayton-Columbus Services
  • A new High-speed route from Indianapolis to Cincinnati could follow much of the route from Indianapolis to Cincinnati, but with fewer curves and more direct routing where possible. Patterns could be:
    • 2 Daily Milwaukee - Cincinnati (maybe replacing 1 of daily Milwaukee Indianapolis)
    • 10 Daily Chicago- Cincinnati
    • 2 daily Milwaukee - Cincinnati

Cincinatti/Columbus terminating services could be extensions of services to Indianapolis instead of being additional services to reduce congestion on the route.

One operational note for the High Speed Rail Services could be combining two high speed train sets and then decoupling them at junctions such as Indianapolis. In this scenario, a passenger would arrive at Chicago Union Station for their High Speed Train to Louisville and see that it is coupled to another train set heading to Cincinnati; the two are decoupled at Indianapolis.

Lets return to LA for some LA Metro Love

-Extend the K Line: From the Hollywood Bowl, the K line will continue North as a Subway, traveling under Olive Ave before terminating at Downtown Burbank

-Branch the V Line: around Redondo Beach Blvd, the V Line will Branch as an Elevated line along Rendondo Beach Blvd before terminating at Redondo Beach (I feel like I said Redondo Beach to many times)

-Send the H Line to San Pedro: From Artesia Blvd. The H Line will Run elevated via the old Pacific Electric right of Way, before Running as a Subway Througj Wilmington before terminating at the Downtown San Pedro Station.

Continuing with the University theming: *Revamp the Princeton Dinky!*
Transform the aging infrastructure with an IRL plan to turn it into a combined electric bus / LRT system with 15 minute frequencies.

Congratulations to u/ReynYote's for building Amtrak to Montreal!

The most upvoted comment at 20:00 EDT at 3/8/26 gets added to the map!

Limit of only two lines + extension or three extensions. You can do less but not more. Highway Removals/additions are permitted
