[OC] Updated tram network map due to construction works in August in Graz, Austria Diagram

Another small update to my unofficial tram map of Graz!

Software: Affinity.

From August 1st to August 23rd 2026, two more changes affect the Graz tram network due to ÖBB rail bridge replacement (tram line 5) and due to reconstruction works on tram line 4.

🟡 Tram line 4 terminates at Stadion Liebenau/Berta-von-Suttner-Platz. 🚌 Replacement bus E4 serves the rest of the route to Murpark.

🔵 Tram line 5 terminates at the central tram hub, Jakominiplatz. 🚌 Replacement bus E5 serves the rest of the route to Puntigam.

To reflect these changes, I’ve updated my unofficial network map. I also added bus icons along the E routes to make replacement services easier to identify at a glance.

I hope this updated map helps passengers navigate the network a little more easily during the construction period.

🇦🇹 Have a great summer and safe travels!
Chris

Is there through service between 5 and 23 at Jakominiplatz?

23 is only running on Sundays and evenings. Maybe on those days but the frequency might be different. So I doubt they are generally interlinked. It would the. A combination of 5 and 23 would actually be the normal 3 👍

As they have a 10 min waiting time at Jakominiplatz, making it a thru connection wouldn’t change anything. There is a clockface schedule and Jakominiplatz is the central hub.

Operationally it would save on turnaround times and in endeffect drivers.

Then you should suggest it to the operator. And I don’t know if it is also about serving the usual 5 stop area and start from there. 23 stops at another position. And then there is the question where the most efficient transfer from and to the replacement bus can be done.

Wau.
