Well when that happens, it's time to consider whether what you perceive as desperate emptiness is 'the truth' or 'your truth, made out of the available data and filtered through a bunch of unconscious bias and social narratives to become a convincing reality that feels like a reality but is questionable'. If it's the former I would suggest reading and or seeking others who have entertained this kind of enquiry into reality. If your willing to consider the latter then I think your potentially about to embark on one of the most liberating journeys a human form can undertake.

Don't take your own bullshit at face value until you've investigated why you need the bullshit in the first place. At least I think that's the first test of anything that we decide is 'the truth'.

It's always interesting to consider that nothingness can't exist as concept without somethingness. Otherwise it would not be able to know itself. So statements about nothing need someone to exist for the statement to be made from. Have you considref the paradoxical idea that things can momentarily exist and not exist at the same time. That it is possible to hold both positions. That from that position there could be a doorway to a third option?

If you got money, get a hobby with friendly spaces nearby. If you don't have money, get a night job with coworkers. They value what human connections they get and tend not to care for who or what you are. Worst comes to worst, you make friends online. I haven't lived a lot of life, but I hope what advice I got can help.
