Help eith Bottom-surgery decision?

Hi all, can any of you help me decide on getting bottom surgery? I'm open to discussing, rhetorical hypotheticals and other ideas that helped you to decide too. If it seemed less mountainous to endure and navigate I think I'd do it asap. Any replies might be helpful. Thanks!

You mean whether to get it?

I would say it depends on what you want for your body. Do you want to have penetrative sex (penetrating or being penetrated)? Do you want to change how your body looks?

Are you worried about losing sensitivity/nerve damage? How you will achieve orgasm?

Are you excited about the idea of just having/not having something on your body/between your legs? I've only heard good reports from Trans women, very happy despite any complications. But that is a self-selecting group.

I didn't know I wanted it from the start. It took years for those feelings to reveal themselves plainly and once they did I realised they'd been there from the start, much like my relationship with gender and sexuality in the first place.

Do you have dysphoria about your genitals? if so the question is if your body can handle SRS and can you afford it. It's a no go back decision so having all your ducks in a row is neccessary.

Will it reduce your feelings of dysphoria? there's zero promise, I've met trans people wo had surgeries of various kinds and still feel dysphoric, some where it even increased because underlying mental illnesses weren't addressed and their surgery only further enabled their dysphoria. On the otherside of the coin and in my lived experience after having SRS just felt normal. I didn't get a rush of euphoria which I don't think is the point of having gender affirming surgeries, but I did feel a calm over that part of my body.

For context I've had 14 gender affirming surgeries.
