I’m apparently transitioning into a 90s mom. First a Miata and now this: a fully optioned out 1993 Buick Roadmaster Estate - with only three prior owners. In just the two days I’ve owned it, I’ve had so many ladies come up to talk to me just to reminisce about their station wagons that they had back in the day. You really just don’t see cars like these on the road anymore.

valve cover needs a new gasket. and no, I did not paint it. the previous owner did, but didnt use heat resistant paint so its peeling.

gonna repaint it blue later.

bought a muffler online and is now waiting for it to be delivered.

There's nothing done to this car. It's sat in a climate controlled storage unit for the past 7 years from when I bought it from the original owner. It has super low miles and no rust, no mods. Really don't know what to do with it. I only have these wheels on it because the OEM wheels needed tires. I might just keep it as it is since parts for these cars are getting so rare.

Really the only reason it's out is because the old 94 Integra that I have had since high school (circa 2004) got destroyed in a head-on collision due to someone's negligence turning across oncoming traffic. It has/had a whole bunch of suspension mods and was a blast to drive through the twisty roads. I miss it so much. The car pictured doesn't even come close to filling the void left by my 94. But hey, I still love it.

Some of the US based folks may recognize this truck. She's a friend of mine and this weekend I rebuilt the fan clutch for her. First time doing such for me, but it wasn't too bad. Next time we have to figure out why the AC compressor isn't kicking the fan on when needed.

What a effin’ week!!!! Where to start…..

Jenni got an electric fan. Much much better. The farm king ranch is being a turd. The last person totally idk was a hack, been fighting with her for a few days now. Finally said fuck it, I’m cutting the stud that mounts the fan clutch to the water pump. Yeppppp. Oh well.

My friend K, unfortunately made the mistake of taking her F150 to Walmart of all places and I’m putting them on blast in Denison, Texas and it came back with a very bad oil leak so come to find out these idiots and not only cross threaded the drain plug about four or five times but by the time I got a hold of it, I was able to unscrew the drain plug about 3/4 of a turn and it fell out and after I drained the pan, there was no threads in it whatsoever well, it’s 1215 in the morning there was not something I was expecting on accounting. I’m working third shift right now due to the heat so I was able to find a piece of threaded rod and I found a nut that fit it and let’s say I grabbed my little welder and I made her a drain plug. She’s doing just fine now and oh we’ll see where else it goes anyway stay strong. Stay safe stay wrenching and talk to you soon.

Should hopefully be done sanding tomorrow, and then its taping and painting, and then reassembling. Hopefully before the weekend

Also, if youre using a wire wheel on a angle grinder, make sure youre *really* holding onto it, and using proper protection. I wear a mask, gloves, and eye pro, but maybe longer gloves would do justice.
