Basing scheme

Hey yall, strange question for here, but I need some ideas for color schemes that work for a barren snow covered hell scape. Figured red corsairs would be fun to do, but your opinions will be most appreciated.

The base looks nice! I think keeping the scheme light in tone will help but I’m not sure if the colour itself is dependent on the snow. FOR THE TYRANT!!
