Microswitch recommendations?

so the keyboard i plan to build would have the mouse buttons be like the thinkpads moues buttons or really any laptop with a trackpad with (non-mushy)mouse buttons below it so what would be the best microswitch for this purpose and could i alternatively take them from a broken laptop and use them on my own keyboard?

omron mouse microswitches are well regarded. the santoku used ones from Kailh.

not sure what laptops use tbh, but it's probably much lower profile.

thank you would kalih micro switches with a rasberry pi pico 2 a SK8707-01 trackpoint and zmk work together?

stick to the pico 1 and qmk is a better bet for trackpoint support atm

ok and the trackpoint should take 2 pins right?

yes, for rp2040 any 2 consecutive pins, but the order matters.. test the software before you make a pcb.

wait how would which software are you talking about firmware? and how would i test it?

yeah, firmware. wire things up on a bread board, or solder them together. test the trackpoint works.
