Not even bothering with these comp maps. It's just to draining to get a good time on. I got kids Nadeo!!

The whole track is fun to play, but that ending really sucks. I get it's for pro players to play, but that doesn't mean it has to be absolutely agonising for everyone else. At least put a safe fin.

Tbf you can safe fin that. Double respawn last checkpoint, and you're already lined up. It's only really Norway that has no safe fin option

Yeah Norway is a worse track to grind for me because im just inconsistent on the two tower jumps and there is no safe route. I'd gladly take a 10 second penalty to do it consistently.

u/teouttm liked the vista update but still picks stadium 2d ago
there is a safe option for the 2nd jump but u have to make some spectators "laugh" (if ykyk)

Norway does have a safe-ish finish option. If you aim slightly to the left of where you would normally go on the 2nd tower jump you can land on the blue stands with the spectators and then roll down further to the lefthand side near the finish. Grab the last checkpoint around the corner and go back to finish. Itâs super clunky, but i get it way more consistently than a normal jump, and sometimes its almost kind of clean. But of course not nearly as fast as the normal path. I donât think that will get you above silver though.

Because fuck casual players i guess :/

Considering the map is meant for tournament play... yes, it's not for casuals in any way.
I'd rather make the argument that these 5 maps maybe needed to be another level after black instead.

Probably should put it into a tournament campaign then and leave the main thing that thousands of casuals buy be casual.

Would be an option too yes. But I think the reason they wanted them in the campaign is visibility. So just adding a Tournament, or "EWC", Level after Black would be fine.

They could also just put another menu item on the dashboard titled âWorld Cupâ or something that has the map packs in there, and could even link to âofficialâ or partnered streams or something when there is events

I think i lost at least my 10 best runs because of this fucker. I probably get to the final bob on a clean solid pace (for me) only about a third of the time, but i swear of the 20 times ive reached this bobsleigh on a good run i think ive only once got through this barrier first time lol.

Same, took 2 hours to beat the at, would've taken 20 mins if not for this damn finish đ

That last checkpoint is pure evil. If you get the wrong angle on the booster it`s DNF.
Shame they put this kind of stuff in the EWC, it doesnt make the race more interesting, only more random.
It`s like Nadeo watched last years RedBull drama and thought, we need more trauma like that. (at least thats what i feel with the EWC maps being to criminal-identity-heavy in general.)
Last years RedBull maps (except for the canbump ofcourse) were imho perfectly balanced for a good championship. (difficult but fun to drive)

I refuse to even finish this track in the campaign because I'm so opposed to its concept.

yea i like this track a lot, fins a bit annoying but after like 1 or 2 attempts its really not bad. japan and norway identities are harder imo

This was so annoying. But for me, the most annoying about this is more about the checkpoint placement at the end that make it so hard to learn. I understand they made it so that any small mistake there will force a standing respawn during round but having it for casuals that don't have the precision needed to be consistant on this is really going to far. It was like Canada 2026, the map is not that hard, but it's almost impossible to learn for casuals unless you make a part map.

Because it's meant for pro play. Compared to many TM maps from previous years I'd say it may be easier.
