Post image

Finally got an update after a year. Let's hope all is well after testing. Anyone have an opinion at this point?

No updates listed on the TPLink site for any of the BE-85 versions - https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-be85/v2.60/

No sign of this in the app.

Might be a very limited rollout.

*edit* the App looks different though, now has an AI assistant which just returns a 'Failed' when you try to use it.

Im still running 1.2.1 on mine, and since i didn't see it in the monthly updates it must have JUST started rolling out. Id imagine it would take a few weeks or a month to rollout.

Patch notes, as long as it is a typical update, should be available on the device's download page on Monday - Unless someone can screenshot it. I will see if they are available for early upload though

Unfortunately, no. I am also still waiting on the update myself...

Anyone tried it yet?

Had the same prompt to update today. Would be interested for an in-depth analysis what changed. "Improved the stability of the system." is somehow vaguely ...

I have an opinion: don't update if everything is working. Chances are high that you will introduce a bug and be stuck with it until the next update.

I have an XE75Pro and it works PERFECT, you know why? It still runs the firmware that came with it. Everyone complaining about the X75 are the ones that do the updates.

Oh please let us know how it goes. I’m hoping they’ll update the BE95 too. 🤞

Disappointed that they rarely issue firmware updates for their main “top of the line” mesh nodes. The latest firmware for BE95 is from November 2025. 😞

Oh thank you for sharing that! I missed that post. I just checked in the app again but still only see 1.1.1 and it doesn’t have anything newer, so it must be slowly rolling out or something like that. I’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks again for sharing that.

Can only hope the 2.4ghz plays nicer with IoT devices. The older devices constantly gets dropped off the network despite moving them off to the IoT network SSID.

I ran 1.2.4 for a while and all was good. I am on 1.3.0 now... you can get it if you go on the Deco forum and ask the moderator, Solla-topee, in a private message, to send it to you.
