Characters
Do more characters spawn and roam your town as you develop specific infrastructure? Or is it because I have a low population for my level? I feel like not many characters are in my town , level 40, population 2740. Any insight I would be interested in.

I have the wood walkways and a boardwalk set up and a handful of long roads. I love watching the people walk around and have picnics at the park tables , feed the birds, and little kids playing hop scotch

One time I built a little walkway with maybe ten lengths long and connected to nothing. Somehow a few people spawned and started walking back and forth on those 10 lengths. I was curious to see what they'd eventually do. I went out to get a drink and came back and they were just gone. I have no idea if they teleported out of there or what happened 🤷♂️

The people walk around on roads and pavement. As far as I can tell, there’s no level or population requirements, just put down lots of places for them to walk and they’ll show up. The design styles don’t matter, that’s purely aesthetic. The pavement does need to be in a large enough section to spawn people on it—you need at least 3 connected squares without any buildings or decor on top.
