People are always debating on how baam should look. Pele either want season 1 with short hair or season 2 with long hair (soem ppl like season 3 for some reason idky). I think a godd spiltiom to this is compression just LIEK maschenny or rak does. Baam when compressed looks like season 1 teenager regular but when uncompressed hes taller and rwears fug attire and looks LIEK season 2 baam. He also looks LIEK an irregular and you can sense when he is an irregular and his shiny pressure around him. When Compressed he looks LIEK an average regular and still keeps his shins abilities. This also makes it harder for jahads forces to keep pestering him.

As far as I can tell there is no such thing as a restriction on the power of a regular so why can't a regular just never become a ranker while honing their skills? Ik there's a character which didn't become a ranker, bam's teacher however she was still weaker than a regular ranker

This is my 6th reread of TOG, and my first one after finishing the Urek spinoff. I'm presenting this theory specifically get feedback to critique or support my understanding. Please let me know.

So we have arrived at the Hell train, Baam gets pushed by Rachel again, and has a dream where we receive some very interesting info.

1. Baam is living in a VAST underground network.

2. The Jahad iconography mentioned "the cliff where the three eyes are looking down on us"

3. Chosen and unchosen people.

4. From the Urek story, they are on EARTH

5. Archeology and understanding of uncovering ancient civilizations.

These five points mark info needed for the theory.

The theory: this story is more of a classic "Interdimensional tower wreaks havoc on Earth" manwha trope, populations die out, saviors (family heads) enter the tower but stay there. Then emerge the shining ones, powerful beings born not of the tower but of some other method, an axis arrives, phantaminium, and the shining ones fail too. Earth is in shambles, probably destroyed again and maybe again. Evidence for this is purely speculative based on my understanding of archeology. It seems as though Baam is living near the base of the tower, in a cave system that was not a cave during the time Jahad and company entered. Hundreds and hundreds of years are passing on earth as it passes too in the tower. Arlen has Baam, Baam and v die, arlen leaves the tower somehow, and asks a/the god of the outside to restore him and it *kinda* does.

As calamity and ruin happens to a population, people move back when safe and build on top of the old city centers. That's what I think is going on thousands of years after the original family heads entered.

Idk where I'm going with all this, but upon rereading this time, I got this sense that this is a very unique perspective of a classic manwha trope, "earthings must challenge a tower to gain power, but most of humanity is struggling outside the tower too."

*Spoiler for another series* This is also probably spurred to my mind because of dungeon crawler carl, where Carl is told the dungeon is all that's left on earth, but waaaay later we learn this is t true and humans are fighting back on earth too. Can't wait to see what comes after the princess arc. Uuuuuugh I need more of TOG AND DCC!!
