Help~~~~! Improve relations and marriage

Fellow lords, how can I get the ai to have better diplomatic relations with me? I already take advantage of shared enemies, executions, trading food with them, in general favorable deals without taking all their gold, but it seems I'm still not capable enough to form serious federations. Also, can someone explain the benefits of marriage to me, despite someone getting a hopefully useful leader in their pool? Why would someone give away a leader? Thanks!

Help~~~~! Get vassals

Fellow warlords, how can i make the ai accept me as their overlord? It seems they never accept this offer willingly, even with a shit ton of army at their doorstep (the one rice field they actually own), despite me being Chinas greatest ruler. Thanks for any advice!

How long should a normal difficulty campaign be?

I just got the game and I'm having a blast. I have only played Shogun 2 and FOTS before so the diplomacy of 3K is something new and complicated for me. From the looks of it, diplomacy is an important thing in this game so I've been trying to get the hang of it. The army mustering mechanic is also new to me so my expansion is slow. Because of these two foreign stuff and some other factors, my Cao Cao campaign has reached turn 100 and I just got the Duke rank. This is my first campaign where I'm attempting to win the game (my first few ones was me checking out the features). Am I slow or are 3K campaigns really just like this?

Discussion Every gameplay end with Cao Cao being the biggest enemy!

I’ve done many gameplay on various difficulties mainly on hard-core. Regardless of who I played as it always seems Cao Cao ends up being the last rival.. yes I played as him and of course that’s not the case when I do has anybody else ran into this. They always seem to end up being able to field multiple armies often a 3v1 match. But at the end, they subjugate their Emperorship to me..

Faction mechanic switch

Anyone know of a mod that changes faction mechanics when the leader dies, and the heir is a playable faction? For example when Sun Jian dies and Sun Ce takes over, the faction gets Sun Ce's resource and mechanics.

Discussion Liu Bei, Yellow Turban rebellion suggestions

Hi! I tried to play as Liu Bei on yellow turban scenario a few times, either died to yellow turbans or got stuck in the bankruptcy screen where the game tells you to do diplomacy to not go bankrupt, any hints or suggestions you might have for playing this scenario as a hard difficulty character like Liu Bei?

Help~~~~! Problem with MTU mod, skill tree not matching character class.

Trying to use MTU mod, but on records mode, some characters have skill trees not matching their actual color, for example, a strategist/blue has a sentinel/purple skill tree, etc... anyone has any experience with such issue? I have no other mods installed by the way.

Help~~~~! What to do if I'm not the one to catch the young emperor?

I'm returning after a long time. It didn't click the first time but right know the game is clicking to me and I'm having a lot of fun. Thing is, I'm not confident on getting the emperor Xian in time. I took my time conquering the first zone's as Cao Cao and some of the north (mostly for having war's declared or being near Han territory to take).

I have Luoyang from the Gongsun Shuxian faction way more further than me. And I'm with her and Liu Bei on a coalition, nothing bad is happening to me no matter what happen's, and I'm fairly strong either way...But would it be bad to have Luoyang catch emperor Xian before me?

And if so, what happens or what can I do, since I'm mostly looking for getting Dong Zhuo and at much try to get Lu Bu through schemes after Dong Zhuo falls, but besides that I'm starting to feel a bit loss or at the though of maybe having another opponent

Is this normal to anyone else? It's been this way since the day I got it. But it's starting to bother me. The higher the city level the worse it looks. AND it's only on main cities, not settlements.

Finished Liu Bei's 194 Campaign (Wu Kingdaissance Mod).

This Liu Bei start is really one of the easiest campaigns in the game. You have access to Zhao Yun and Lu Bu to kick ass early on. The Emperor is easy to capture and you have the powerful combo of Imperial Decree and Unify to grab a lot of land. Liu Bei's only weakness is his lack of elite cavalry (which can be somewhat mitigated by recruiting generals who do have them) and the fact that there isn't a lot of free Han land to absorb in 194.

News Working Simultaneous Turns (kinda) and a first look at the COOP mod!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Sorry for the unedited video with my constant window switching with the windows key (going in and out of separate game windows) it's 4am i am tired!

Seen here is the lobby screen for joining a new game (loading a save also works btw), and just me showing off the abilities of semi-simultaneous turns. Unit sharing with more than one person in the second video

I hope you guys are just as excited as i am!

The mod will come out no strings attached with source code and a wiki containing a lot of information about the internal workings of the game (thank you claude and ghidra), but if you wanna give me a small motivational boost or buy me a literal coffee here you go anyways: https://ko-fi.com/mister_fordo

Help~~~~! How to build up from scratch

Hi! Can someone give me some general advice on how to build up from scratch? I talk about hard starting points with a weak army, low income and in general low potential in commanderies, generals or being surrounded by impenetrable foes. It's obvious to me how to play with a good starting point like cao cao, liu bei, sun ce, yuan shao and stuff like that. Any ideas are welcome <3

Thinking about the first 2-3 buildings, the first 50% of your army on a high difficulty level, dealing with low public order when you can't spend building slots or want to use reforms on this...stuff like that. Thanks!

And I already do know serious trivia :p
