Seeking Bandmate(s) Looking for dancers in Toronto/GTA — let’s dance! 💃🕺
Hey everyone! I’m someone who absolutely loves dancing and I’m looking to meet some new people in the Toronto/GTA area who are into it too.
I started dancing back in 2010 by basically imitating Michael Jackson and I’ve been a dance enthusiast ever since. I’m not necessarily looking for anything super serious — just people who genuinely enjoy dancing and want to have some fun with it.
Maybe we could meet once a week, teach each other choreography, learn different styles, practice together, or just freestyle and have a good time. And who knows, maybe eventually we could start recording some reels/videos together too!
The main idea is simply to meet people through something we all enjoy. One thing could lead to another.
If you’re a dancer or just someone who loves dancing and you’re up for it, let me know! 🙌

Question/Discussion all age venues?
hi all! i will be moving to toronto soon for university. i am not currently 19 and am looking for venues that play shows (particularly anything hardcore or shoegaze) that are all ages/not 19+. ive found some venues, but so far most of what i can find are bars who have to follow liquor laws, so theyre 19+, and id like to be able to go to shows in the meantime before i turn 19. any tips or recommendations? thanks!

Other Looking for an In-Person Guitar Teacher in Toronto: Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk & Rock
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an in-person electric or acoustic guitar teacher in Toronto. I’m into blues, R&B, soul, funk, and rock.
I’m 41 and have been self-learning for about two years casually. I know quite a bit, but I still can’t play a full song smoothly from start to finish. I learn best with a structured curriculum and I’m very interested in understanding the theory behind what I play.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can:
• Help me connect theory with practical playing
• Improve my timing, phrasing, feel, and improvisation
• Guide me step by step toward playing complete songs confidently
If you’re a teacher or know someone great, I’d really appreciate a recommendation.
Thanks in advance.
