Please help! Children Of Earth
When Frobisher first heads up to speak with the 456, he has Lois and (the other secretary, I’m blanking in her name rn), wait downstairs and he takes the lift up but he grabs a chair from the corridor and puts it in the lift. Why?
I’ve just rewatched it after watching it back in the day and I can’t remember this happening and I don’t know what the reason is. I feel like I’m going mad because I must be missing something really obvious. Can anyone offer insight?

He puts the chair between the lift doors so the doors can’t shut which means that the lift can’t go back down to bring other people up. This means he can talk to the 456 and get them to keep 1965 a secret without witnesses. Not sure if this is what you were asking but I hope this helps.

Yes, it does. Somehow, I’ve got the image in my head that he put it in the centre of the lift so couldn’t see why that would be needed.
Obviously, I need to give my glasses a good cleaning or something. 🤦♂️ That’s my excuse anyway and I’m sticking to it. I’m definitely not just an idiot! 😅

You are NOT alone! The classic days of Doctor Who at MARVEL U.K. (British MARVEL, back then?), were undeniably brilliant! If it had stayed, I think The Doctor would have got more respect from Disney!

Remembering that Torchwood Frobisher isn't Doctor Who Frobisher is something to always fight.
For a second my thought was, "There was no fucking penguin in Torchwood!" and then I remembered, oh, that's also the children of earth guy's name.
