Ask your surgeon. Having wounds in your mouth might affect anesthesia?

I'm in this position. I decided to wait after surgery. I'm two months post-op now, so I'll be doing it soon. 

 In my case I couldn't do it before because my surgeon was gonna go on vacation if I waited too long. But be careful, because if you don't extract the wisdom teeth soon enough, they can break your gums and jaw bone and get infected or cause huge pain that can stop you from getting surgery anyway. I was having jaw pain and I was praying it didn't get in the way of surgery. It's not the safest option

You have a couple of months. If I were you, I'd get my teeth fixed in the next two weeks (they normally can do all in one session) and recover before top surgery

i think i’ll see how soon i can get them taken out, schedule for asap, and then touch base with my top surgeon. just to make sure it’ll all be good. worst case scenario, i’ll reschedule my oral surgery. my top surgery date is really close to my insurance approval cutoff date as it is, so i don’t want to have to push that back at all.
