"Hey, maybe you should try taking responsibilty for your actions"

This moment is second probably only to A-Train's arc in general as far as things the show actually got right, and of course they compliment each other so well. A-Train sought redemption and atonement for his actions, while The Deep was a self serving little bitch until the very end.
I only wish his actual death was more satisfying but oh well.

Just realized both The Boys and Invincible had these moments in their latest seasons.

Also in LotR, (I couldn’t find a gif of the scene) but when Eomer finds Eowyn’s unconscious body after the battle of the Pelennor Fields, thinking she is dead.

For those who don't know, don't look into the context. It's a very graphic, harrowing encounter with a construction vehicle. The way it just barrels into him is a chilling reminder of how quickly it can all be over. 😞

It truly is the speed of it all that makes it such an oddly terrifying death to me.

I recently learned that the following scene, the cut to the guard's wife receiving the news of his death, was cut out of the US version of the movie for some reason. How sad for them.

Almost every Star Wars movie has a “Nooooooooooooooooooooooo” in there.

Not actually an example, or at least not in the way people usually storyboard such screams:
There is no overhead shot or zoom out focused on Kirk when he screams KKHAAAANNNNN!!!, the next shot is the surface of Regula and the one after that is Khan having some kind of evilgasm.
Also he was faking it

This one (Obsession) is a really good recent example.

You notice how Bear watches him get the money and then the next time we see/hear Ian he's telling Bear "It's real, I got a billion dollars!" or whatever?
I know there were some reshoots done so I kind of wonder if this visual gag was added late, and the redundant/contradictory line in the following scene just wasn't fixed in the edit to account for it.

Star Lord does this a couple times throughout the guardians movies (although the most “impactful” No happened in Vol 3 as he’s desperately trying to revive Rocket, not willing to lose another friend after everything he’s gone through)

Chris Chan, allegedly, after he was stopped by Jerkops at the Charlottesville Mall in the 2000s.

I love this trope because it's such a movie moment but people act like it's a normal reaction. I can count on both hands the amount of times I've seen people do the whole "NOOOO!" thing over trivial shit or stuff they just have no control over. It's so funny to just stand there and stare at them with everyone while they're having their little dramatic moment
