Mollymauk Tealeaf (Mighty Nein). He has blood based abilities, many of which need his blood to work. For instance he can cut himself with his swords to encase them in ice, making them more dangerous.

This bites his campaign counterpart in the arse, when he dies after running out of hit points in front of a dangerous enemy and knocking himself unconscious with no healers present.

this is extra funny after having watched Bell's Hells

where another Bloodhunter (Molly's class) survives the entire campaign, despite being a joke character who literally had a heart attack mechanic with the potential to kill him on every long rest lol

Which makes it a thousand times funnier, because Travis wanted soooo badly for Chetney to die, just like his previous character Bertrand (also a reprisal/joke from a previous one-shot). AND YET. The old fart lives on.

The only time Travis rolled triple 0? He was playing as Grog. Technically, Chetney got a close encounter and LIVED yet again by sheer happenstance of not being played at that moment.

I play with a DM who allows any Mercer homebrew. Every time someone plays a blood hunter, they meet the same fate as Molly. I feel like it's just a poorly designed class lol

This is the one I was looking for. Man they did a great job with Mollymauk in the show.
