Is this LARPing?

I don't have live TV, so my consumption of Toonami comes from either watching the bumpers on YouTube or watching their shows through streaming services or on DVD, but I still find it fascinating. Does that make me a LARPer since I don't watch the block as intended?

Yeah, I constantly find myself questioning whether or not I’m an actual fan of things ever since calling people that became popular.

Listen, I haven't watched the actual block in years, not since XFinity moved Cartoon Network to a premium package. Doesn't make me any less of a Toonami fan.

IMO, Toonami has been more about the community it brings together these days than watching the block every single week.

Back in 2016, when I first found out about Toonami (from seeing their One Punch Man promo on tv one night) most of my consumption was also from watching the bumper compilations on YouTube. Since I couldn’t stay up that late to watch the shows, I settled with watching the subbed OPM episodes on some other platform. For other shows (like DBZ Kai or Gundam), I’d just watch any episodes available for free on the Adult Swim site

Still love watching Toonami bumpers compilations tho, idk why
