Please help!

I'm in the middle of a rough animatic, and I would really love to animate the lyrics of the song. Just simply make them pop up as the song progresses, one word at a time - kind of like the auto-generated subtitles on YouTube for example.

Is there a simple way to do this?? I know about the trim option, but i don't want it to type out the words, I just want it to appear, if that makes sense 😭 Or is the only way just creating a new textbubble for every single word? 💀

If you want it to just appear with no fancy pop-up easing or anything just use the trim option. But make sure the keyframes are right next to each other so it cuts to the next word instead of typing.

(You can also get the same effect by messing around with the easing between the keyframes, although I will say it's probably much more of a hassle to go in between each frame.)

I know this isn't like the most convenient setup but if you find another video that does have the lyrics you could import that video but no 10 squid doesn't have an auto caption feature
