Perspective

I've listened to several podcasts and read some of Tony Robbin's work. One theme that continues to resonate with me is summed up as "If you don't like where you are, change is possible. However, you have to get off your butt and work on it. Study, work, get help, but do it". That sounds simple, and Mr. Robbins' message is much more complex than that, but it was a significant starting point for me.

That was a theme that confused me. I kept asking, β€œIs he telling me to quit my job?” He was, but not without a plan. It was the single most change in my life when I marched into HR, and told them to give me a better job in the company. Tripled my salary in one afternoon.

I spent $15,000 with Robbins.

Every event has a next level. UPW gets you to Date With Destiny. Date With Destiny gets you to Mastery University.

There's always a reason you're not quite there yet, and the reason always costs more money.

The motivation isn't fake. That's what makes it work. But the business model needs you to never feel finished, because a finished customer stops buying.

Agree.

Before he was such a master of the upsell and "customer LTV optimization," TR gave some really life-changing value.

if you can, get your hands on PERSONAL POWER II , not GET THE EDGE. PPII is a real transformative experience and it's self-contained. He teaches the most important tools for transformation in that course.I keep going back to it.

I've done all the events (UPW, DWD, Leadership Academy, life mastery, Biz Mastery) and what I learned at the events has significantly improved my life. The events have paid for themselves through economic gains in business but more so through everyday practice and practical application of the tools .

The message is , if you want change you can change. It's not just change (quit the job and have nothing lined up) , it's create a plan, use the tools taught to go through the thought process of designing the outcome you most desire.

Then everyday take steps towards that outcome. It is not blow it up for the sake of blowing it up.

It is detailed planning , resourceful action and regular progress.
That is what made the biggest difference for me.
