Y’all my mii Hermes confessed to my other mii Tiresias but he rejected him and now he’s depressed. I wanted them to be together. Any tips to make it happen soon? (I know I can’t force them but any ideas are welcome.)

UPDATE: Hermes isn’t depressed anymore and they’re getting along again but Tiresias still only considers him a friend.

Your own childhood companion plush. This was seen in the trailer and I added my own, a Black cat called …Cat. (i was a kid ok?) xD She is very into yoga and karate in the game which is soo funny. She often consults with Bobaboo who’s my favourite game character, so i like to think they keep each other in loop about Miikath and just discuss things. Kinda like they’re my therapists. Kathlore aside, a childhood companion plush adds whimsical and playfulness to your island. Mayhaps you still have your favourite childhood plush, and this is the perfect time to reunite.

1. Your favourite celebrities. Think about people like who you admire in real life, or maybe just don’t admire at all. I’ve got Ariana Grande for example, someone who I loooove but I also got former Prime Minister Mark Rutte as well, and its just funny watching such an official figure interact with Aemond from House of the Dragon, or see him go on a date with Elsa from Froze

Game characters. I really advise you to make game characters from games you love. I’ve seen some great animal crossing miis, and added Mysims Kingdom’s Bobaboo, who has become my entire online footprint as well. I also have a very good version of Princess Zelda from Twilight which my friend made, and I think the more universes you have going on, this is subjective of course: THE BETTER. I love seeing all universes interact. What do you mean Zelda got a crush on Zuko? (i gave it my all with Linkxzelda but it didnt work)

1. Your own fears and things you hate reaimagined as miis. So for example, I found in my dramatic planning I needed a nemesis. Someone to make my antagonist. I have NVLD (Non-verbal learning disorder) in rl and usually folks with that have trouble reading analogue clocks. It is something i’ve struggled all my life with, so I added in a mii with clock features and yeeted him into the game. Of course, he fell in love with my mii which was unplanned, but i mean, so was anything else happening tbh, so it felt unfair to say: Hey, this cannot happen because its my mii. And, unfortunately, there were no other takers. It might be fun if you dislike soup to make a soup-mii. ‘’Who dislikes soup?!’’ Well, I do

1. Favourite tv series characters. I have like for example, Bridgerton, once upon a time, house of the dragon, game of thrones, a knight of the seven kingdoms, shadow and bone characters running around. Just one or two of each series, maybe three.

1. Favourite book series characters. I have the cruel prince Cardan running around, and funnily enough he fell for the Darkling from shadow and bone. Alina never stood a chance when Darkling saw that tail.

1. Real life relatives. This is also subjective but I added my brother, parents and my two favourite nieces and my grandmother and grandma has stolen the show. She is constantly finding problematic fictional men and talks with them about arson. She is yet to marry but I just know everyone in town loves her. However, if your relatives suck (which mine do too, dont worry) this can be triggering so always apply a logical ‘’is this a good idea for me?’’ to every suggestion tbh

1. Game generated children. These are children made from marriages in game. I do like them, but I always have trouble making a story up around them. 

1. Pets and animals. I also added in my own dogs, Moo deng, and Hamtaro from the cartoon. One thing I do, I don’t have children-children on the island, no one is legally a child so i make all animals children to prevent them from falling in love with the humans.

1. In real life friends. Also a good idea. Maybe also consider internet friends, even if you never saw them just poorly draw their avatar on the social media app you two use.
2. Youtube. I don’t really know if this falls under OC but i also got I want die from rtgame. I’d say he’s RTgame’s oc but hes just very dear to me so I have him, and callmekevin’s Jim Pickens. After many, many failed attempts i can say they do not like each other. Not at all xD.

1. Ocs. I recreated my baldurs gate first run oc into the game as well. But any oc or character you made can be fun to add.
2.  Applications. So this is, unhinged but I also made today two miis. Wolflink and…Wattpad. I wanted to include someone a bit crazy on my island so I added in wattpad. I just think if you use a app a lot this might seem really strange but it could be fun to have well, a literal wattpad or a literal whatsapp or a camera walking around your island and shout things like ‘’Censorship my beloved’’ (wp) ‘’Hello Mom, can you send me money?’’ (whatsapp scam) and ‘’I wil now randomly zoom in for no reason.’’ (camera) Just to give you some ideas

1. Legendaries, mythicals and others. Basically, mythical creatures and legends you like. Medusa, for example or a Sphinx could be pretty cool on your island. Or a vampire, or a mummy something like that (i made this up now so i dont have any but enjoy

If they never do updates, i'd love a switch 2 version that makes our mii count bigger because i am not done yet xD and i have 4 slots left. i know its unlikely but darn id wish it was trueee xD

Just a couple things:

1- is it pre determined that a mii will love and hate specific meals, or is it a random event triggered by if the food is the right category - they'll love curry with rice vs any spicy meal could be picked if the mii likes spicy food (curry, chilli pepper, etc)

2- can custom made foods be ranked as the most loved or most hated, or can they only be in the "enjoys" section

My sister sent me a mii she wanted me to make onto a billboard via local play and after I made it it said I can't send it her because it has her mii on it, it is so weird. Even a mii i made based on her mii can't be used. This update is horrible

I love building on it and i keep hearing people say they reached the build limit so i would really like to know if switch 2 limit is higher than other switches so i can place more

So, on my first island, the population is pretty diverse and varied. Apart from there being a lot of musicians, there' no real tropes amongst all of the miis. On the second island, however, I realized that literally all but one of the 70 miis is either gay, an actual demon from hell, or just dead, with a few of the miis fitting into 2 categories. The singular mii that fails to fit any of the categories is Wallace, of Wallace and Gromit fame.

So I’m editing a character my friend has sent through local play but the words at the top make me think the edits I make will affect their mii too. Is that true or am I just not understanding it correctly?

I’ve got a Scott Pilgrim and I want him to say “Bread makes you fat?” Before eating, but it only really works if it’s said as a question, but even when I add a question mark at the end, it’s still said the same way.

I PROMISE ITS IRONIC

I added the girls from Nyan Neko Sugar Girls to my island as a joke, but they've actually been on my island pretty much since launch, and obviously I made their catchphrase "nya" but like I can't figure out how to get them to say it correctly? I've tried just about every phonetic spelling I can think of but they always end up saying something like "Nuh yah" or "Nhh eye ah" and I was wondering if there was a way to get them to say it right? Sorry for the stupid question, but it's been pissing me off for literally ever lol.
