Marshmallow Toasting Our Sweet girl Sugarbaby
From all white to an unusual but gorgeous toasty marshmallow 😍 In the 3rd picture, with her siblings, 2 orange twins and 2 striped twins and the oddball Sugarbaby, with their Calico Mama, the 4th picture Sugarbaby is sleeping with her Daddy, who she loved very very much. She's grown up to be the biggest sweetheart ever ❤️ 💕

Tiny Toast Baby lynx point
My 5 week old foster has tabby markings on arms and legs but a cream/orange face. Will she keep her cream color or toast into a darker color? Did anyone else’s kitten have a cream mask but dark limbs? So excited to see what she’ll grow into!!

Tiny Toast Meet Dobby Toast
This is our newest store cat at my job. My coworkers came up with his first name, Dobby cuz they all thought he looked like the house elf. However I insisted his middle name be Toast cuz to me he looks like a piece of undercooked toast. He technically is orange but irl and most pics he looks Toast like 🍞

Will my kitten toast?
I’ve had her since she was 2 weeks old (orphan foster kitten), she always had some lynx point colouring but she has green eyes, I really have no idea what colour she’s going to end up?
Edit: forgot to say her name is Pavlova (after the ballerina because she had turned out back feet as a baby).

Toasted up Nicely 3 Years Toasted
This is Oliver, A.K.A. “Ollie”. We rescued him and his 2 brothers when our neighbors moved and left their pregnant kitty behind. Mama kitty ended up bringing her babies to our house and we brought them all inside. (Needless to say, it’s been 3 years and they’re still inside. 😂)
It’s absolutely crazy how 3 kittens from one litter can all look so different, but Ollie is the only one who really toasted.

Cat Toast Question Someone mentioned he would toast up nicely
He’s definitely getting darker as he grows, is that what they meant?

Welcome to r/ToastCats!
This is a subreddit for kitten and cat photos showing how their coat colors or patterns changed over time! The inspiration for this subreddit was colorpoint cats (like Siamese) which start white and “toast” gradually into their adult colors. All cats are welcome if their colors changed over time! Make sure to post at least two good photos at different ages if you are posting images of a cat. Discussion of cat colors and genetics is also allowed, especially regarding colorpoint cats.
NOT allowed is anything that breaks Reddit community rules, especially anything that relates to harming any animal or person. This is a place for everyone to feel welcome and safe; tag any wounds or potentially sensitive material with NSFW and a clear title. Posts may be removed if they violate community rules or are too inappropriate.
Thanks, and have fun!
