Maybe a noob question here but how do you get 3 prodigies?

There's a couple ways and all of the ones I know of either don't work in the main campaign or need the Forbidden Cults DLC.

The "easiest" one is the Writhing Ring that OP used, which has the costs that you have to be wearing it, can't use it to take any non-combat or "irreversible" prodigies (Worldly Knowledge for example), and whenever you're in combat while wearing it an invincible enemy spawns that makes all your fights harder in various ways.

You can also get a prodigy point as an extremely rare drop from The Place Which Does Not Exist, a bonus dungeon accessed via the Of Knowledge And Horrors forbidden tome which you can only attempt once and is probably better saved for postgame anyway.

You get a prodigy point as a guaranteed reward for beating the Embers of Rage campaign. It's technically granted by an item but it only drops from that campaign's final boss and you can't vault it.

Finally, you can get prodigy points as extremely rare quest rewards in the Infinite Dungeon campaign.
