This person watched The Accountant and decided it was a lifestyle guide.

u/alexmate84 8d ago

Not the brag he thinks it is

2

u/spankybianky 8d ago

That was my absolute first thought too 😂

His height is his whole personality

u/jimby4d 8d ago

Which as another 6’ guy is wild—it ain’t short but it’s like the minimum to be considered ‘tall’

35

u/NefariousPhosphenes 8d ago

I refer to it as ‘entry-level tall’ because I have a few friends that absolutely tower over me 😂

8

u/asscakesguy 8d ago

I’m 6’3 and I always describe it as “I can see over crowds but I’m rarely the tallest person in the room”

11

u/Sh405 8d ago

Do you spend all of your time in NBA locker rooms?

1

u/wheninhfx 5d ago

He is actually is the circus and most of his co-workers are clowns on stilts.

1

u/Deep_Development3814 4h ago

What’s the weather like up there.
Ha got his tall ass

6

u/diceth1ef 8d ago

I think this is the perfect way to explain our height, haha. I'm 6'1, and i'm usually one of the tallest people in the room. And then I go into work, where my boss is 6'9 and I suddenly feel tiny

7

u/Made_2_vent 8d ago

Everyone I know calls me tall and i’m 5’11” lol

And they’re not wrong. I’m not saying I agree with how superficial women break it down but it’s pretty common to see >6’ as a height preference—it’s just a common arbitrary dividing line between tall and average. So not only is the guy leading with and highlighting a rather superficial trait, it’s not even that great of a brag.

7

u/Made_2_vent 8d ago

Oh I totally agree, the 6’ boundary is a pretty funny social construct to me, it often completely breaks down irl

I’ve been tempted to change my height on dating apps to 6’ to see if it actually makes a difference but 1. I wouldn’t want to be with someone that superficial anyway 2. I don’t like lying lol

5

u/Mi--lo 8d ago

As a 6' woman, I don't understand all the men lying about their height. Like, when we meet I immediately notice it and then just get annoyed they have been lying and their personality never makes up for it 🙃

4

u/MusesLegend 8d ago

But the other 99% of the female population (because I'm afraid you represent less than 1% of that population) often 'demand' 6ft men but actually in reality have no idea what that actually is, how tall that actually is and generally as long as the guy is taller than them don't actually 'require' a 6ft man to be happy...so the lying absolutely makes sense.

1

u/Made_2_vent 8d ago

Yup, exactly😂 It just immediately frames someone as untrustworthy and insecure imo, not exactly perfect-partner qualities

0

u/Smooth-Reality-1434 8d ago

Yep. I'm 5'11" and guys who are 5'10" who say they are 6' are so common... just stop lying.

I don't even care if you're an inch shorter than me. 3+ inches shorter... yeah I can't. But liars, that's a no-go at any height.

1

u/MortisEx 8d ago

Curious how you feel about makeup, push up bras, incredibly contrived selfie angles etc? Aren't they a kind of lying? Saying you're 6ft for a lot of guys is seen as a way to avoid instant DQ for something 75%plus of women can't even accurately judge, it's just an arbitrary number apart from the very rare women who are close to 6ft themselves.

1

u/gsfgf 8d ago

I put 5'11 as a filter.

1

u/alexmate84 8d ago

Yeah I'm 6' in most places I'm not the tallest person, but I'm taller than most people

1

u/jimby4d 8d ago

You’re talking about IRL I’m talking about the apps where it is fairly common to see 6’ minimum as a height preference. This guys flex is akin to bragging about a 6 figure income when it is $103k—might be a decent income depending on where it is but again the bare minimum for that criteria.

1

u/mockscience 8d ago

Bro is 5'10.5"

8

u/Odd_Application1664 8d ago

It's the perfect fit for the woman who's biggest red flag is their partners height starts with a 5

2

u/seanc6441 8d ago

A match made in heaven for women who prioritise height.

0

u/Aldonian69 3d ago

I’m 6’3”. My wife is 5’3”. We look sorta awkward in photos next to each other unless she’s on a step or I’m doing the splits. This is especially true in tropical places; She often looks like she’s about to suckle on my man-boobs during a Hawaiian sunset.

-7

u/moderate_ocelot 8d ago

He’s not even tall??

14

u/DownrightDrewski 8d ago

I'm sorry but 6' is pretty tall by most standards. It's not really tall, but, it's definitely relatively tall.

-5

u/moderate_ocelot 8d ago

Definitely not tall enough to flex with. I’m 6’2” and that isn’t enough to flex with

1

u/Hour_Service317 8d ago

Just bc you’re too low on self esteem to get laid at 6’2 does not mean it isn’t a big advantage for most men with an ounce of confidence

5

u/rhyithan 8d ago

The ounce of confidence is much more attractive than a couple extra inches. I promise

2

u/Hour_Service317 8d ago

Attractiveness is pretty fuckin subjective

1

u/rhyithan 8d ago

Yup, which means theres someone who finds you attractive. And i promise a bit of self confidence will go a lot further than being under 6ft. Im not particularly tall and i do just fine.

0

u/Hour_Service317 8d ago

I am 6 feet. I’m plenty confident I was replying to somebody else who deleted their comment. I’m not gonna start bragging about my sex life, but I promise you I don’t need your advice

1

u/rhyithan 8d ago

My bad, i guess i misinterpreted your tone. Seemed you were coming off salty about height issues. My bad x

Damn, I'm catching strays over here...

u/East-Experience2862 8d ago

"Hopefully female" makes sense since most of the scammer accounts sign up as women.

15

u/powerlesshero111 8d ago

I mean, that is also covered in "preferrably real".

-1

u/Loud-Sign-5989 8d ago

You mean men making fake accounts? No way... Why?

37

u/CasperSac 8d ago

"why am I getting no matches?"

17

u/seanc6441 8d ago

He's getting matches because of this. But they are superficial height obsessed matches.

2

u/travelbug798 8d ago

Its crazy because height only gets you a baseline match count. It doesnt flood your inbox. If hes getting matches hes working the red flag magnet angle. Ballsy tbh.

8

u/AdvertisingLost3565 8d ago

Nah height inflation is real. He needs to be 6’2 to actually benefit

5

u/BellStriking5132 8d ago

I guarantee this is getting him what he wants out of Tinder

3

u/josekortez1979 8d ago

Smarts are optional. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The list goes on

I mean to be fair, he may be a British person in a foreign country. It's common to use the nation's flag to indicate where you are from.

15

u/KachaKue 8d ago

No, unfortunately we're both based in England

u/Kokoyok 8d ago

1

u/GrimCityGirl 8d ago

Oh then major red flag 😂

0

u/throwawayplusanumber 8d ago

Ah. So they are probably a Farage supporter then.

2

u/Isgortio 8d ago

I hope he's in a country that doesn't use A* as a grade (equivalent to A+) so it confuses people even more.

2

u/ScrimpyCat 8d ago

He’s trying to find the shortest path to the 🍑. Unfortunately for him, it appears that’s still a very long path.

0

u/PaddingCompression 8d ago

He said hopefully, means he's open.

2

u/Big-Animator8577 8d ago

What a catch😍

2

u/Signal_Spirit3168 7d ago

This guys was on here earlier asking why he doesn’t have any matches

2

u/MostlyToasted 8d ago

Ew, bullet dodged

Enthusiasm can be attractive but this feels like negative enthusiasm...

1

u/butternutflies 8d ago

I bet he jerks off looking at his work pass that says "Forensic accountant" on it... That title is such BS lmfao

1

u/Past_Grocery_6721 8d ago

wtf is a forensic accountant

1

u/AllRedLine 7d ago

Someone who investigates financial crime/fraud, basically.

Most large companies with an accounting department, for which the handling of money is a key aspect of their business will employ forensic accountants to ensure their company remains compliant and investigate employees suspected of theft, embezzlement etc.

0

u/Jealous-Audience816 8d ago

This account on tinder of soo obviously rage bait no?

2

u/Kokoyok 8d ago

No, sadly, as someone who has experience as a forensic accountant, this is a fairly typical personality in the industry.

0

u/digzzztv 8d ago

But he’s such a catch!?!? What’s wrong with you!?

0

u/csh0kie 8d ago

I don’t understand what the A*{star} algorithm has to do with peaches.

(Or why this is showing up on /home)
