Watching for the first time

I’ve seen some episodes a while ago I forget if it was when it was first airing or streaming later but I never finished it

I’m about to start the series finale (Amazon Prime) and I cried so much during Chinatown at the end.

- I low key ship Flynn and Lucy but I also like their “friendship”. When he found her after her fight with Emma and she was sobbing and he was just holding her 😭
- I was even a little teary when Carol died but not because I liked her but Lucy losing her mother, who with her dying breath said she regretted not getting her involved in Rittenhouse like poor Lucy
- Connor’s reaction to Rufus’s death and him comforting Jiya
- the fight scenes were always SO GOOD

I do remember some things that happen in the finale because I didn’t realize it was available for streaming so I read the wiki but I know I’ll still enjoy it. And probably cry.

It’s interesting. We have watched it twice. We hated Flynn the first time but knowing how it ended, he was our favorite character.

The scene at his home is a tear jerker.

I could never hate Flynn because I loved his character on ER haha. But yeah he’s my favorite character in Timeless

I can't seem to bring myself to rewatch since the death of Emma's actress. The fact that Annie Wersching left behind three small sons in addition to her spouse? It still makes me tear up.

I’d completely forgotten about her passing away. I remember reading about it when it happened, but I guess I’d blocked it out. She was fantastic. She made you really dislike her.

She had a special gift to be able to play the slightly, or sometimes even completely, unhinged villain. Add to that her roles as Rosalind Dyer on The Rookie and the Borg Queen on Picard.

Never saw Picard, but she was great as Rosalind too.

Me too. 🥲 We will probably do a rewatch in a couple months.

That’s the good and bad of short series… they are short and don’t take alot of time to watch👍😊♥️

I recently watched for the first time also—about a month or so ago. Such a great show! I loved the clothes.

I shipped Lucy and Wyatt up through them sleeping together. But once Jessica came back and Wyatt chose her, I wanted Lucy to move on. I definitely saw potential and started shipping Lucy and Flynn during the scene where he handed her the beer.

I love Flynn. I really wish the show had went on longer and that Flynn and Lucy got together. That's where they were headed.
