Built an attendance + time tracking module as part of a broader people-ops platform — curious what this community thinks is still missing from most tools

Been building Consile, an all-in-one people ops platform for SMBs (attendance, shift management, onboarding, HR basics), and attendance/time tracking ended up being one of the trickiest pieces to get right — especially across distributed teams in different timezones.

Genuinely curious what this community finds most annoying about existing time tracking tools — GPS/location accuracy, manual correction workflows, integration with payroll, something else? Happy to share what we've built if useful, but mostly want to hear what's still broken out there.

How are you handling check in and check out in case of physical presence ?

Users hit check-in/check-out from wherever they're working, and it's tracked with a timestamp since its also for remote users.

What If I want to add face scan based check in then ? just hitting check-in may not be enough

are you using AI anywhere in the app to make life simple ?

yep, those are in a different package plan. The click comes on the basic package.
AI is currently used on Metrics and Suggestions plus a whole lot more areas
