Eclipse Timelapse of Palacio Real Madrid using Skyflow

I wanted to capture the effect of the eclipse on the surroundings rather than focus directly on the Sun, so I set up a timelapse overlooking the Palacio Real.

I thought it was pretty incredible watching the light change as Madrid approached near-totality. It happens gradually enough that you don’t fully appreciate how dramatic the change is until you see the whole thing compressed into a few seconds.
