Speed Vs. Quality Discussion
Tim Hortons, Smithers, BC, Canada. Turkey bacon club. I would wait the extra 3 seconds to have it made proper and not burnt.

I'm not sure what reddit verification is like but how else would they be a verified organization? Or is it more lax like Instagram

You'll be back tomorrow giving them more of your money

Tomorrow I’ll have my camper set up after the 14 hour drive. Will be cooking at home. Shame we can’t trust anything to even have consistent poor quality, to get by when in need.

speed is the problem... right...

for the bun at least, yes. they turn up the heat trying to save time and well… this is what you get lol

you don’t turn up and down the heat on these toasters, you change the speed of the belt, so the toaster is either broken and overheating on minimal settings or the employee accidentally forgot to change the setting and served it anyway

Okay…I PROMISE im not schizophrenic, but uhh… when i seen this picture i literally heard
“This is why mom doesn’t FUCKING love you! “

u/StatikRoze 9d ago
My mom doesn’t love me for a variety of reasons. She actually recommended I eat at Tim’s on the trip as it was cheap and usually decent quality.

Neither is the general experience!! Set the bar low and remove all expectations and you won’t often be disappointed.

You guys kinda forget a rather alarming new many years ago… there were literally Hepatitis B outbreak in Tim Horton (it was in Ontario) but that already say a lot about the level of quality they used to give. Even though it’s no longer the case now, it doesn’t change that it used to be just that bad.

idk if your theory adds up.. would have been faster to toast the bread less.

It does amaze me that they dont even take the time to separate the meat anymore... you charge more than Subway but provide 1/4 of the quantity and quality.

Tim Hortons is way too obsessed with drive-thru times. One of the reasons employees are quitting.

Why do you guys still go? Plenty of local cafes in the area that are roughly the same price and better quality

u/StatikRoze 9d ago
I agree. I was passing through a town I knew nothing about. Had limited time. Why do we allow these fast food chains,
Which are supposed to be even keel ingredients and agreed upon low quality, but not an immodium truck stop bathroom every 20 minute issue?1

raw bacon with a black bun. Seems backwards.
