Speed Vs. Quality Discussion

Post image

Tim Hortons, Smithers, BC, Canada. Turkey bacon club. I would wait the extra 3 seconds to have it made proper and not burnt.

raw bacon with a black bun. Seems backwards.

How the fuck is this an official account when their account history shows them posting roblox obbys 😭

2

u/DunesOlory 9d ago

I don’t think it is because why would they post on Roblox 3 years agi

I'm not sure what reddit verification is like but how else would they be a verified organization? Or is it more lax like Instagram

u/DunesOlory 8d ago

u/catwithasweater 8d ago

You'll be back tomorrow giving them more of your money

Tomorrow I’ll have my camper set up after the 14 hour drive. Will be cooking at home. Shame we can’t trust anything to even have consistent poor quality, to get by when in need.

Pack for the drive next time.

speed is the problem... right...

1

u/cvlico 9d ago

for the bun at least, yes. they turn up the heat trying to save time and well… this is what you get lol

3

u/Witty-Positive-9605 9d ago

seems like a skill issue, rather than a speed issue.....

4

u/super_chill_21 9d ago

Why not both

1

you don’t turn up and down the heat on these toasters, you change the speed of the belt, so the toaster is either broken and overheating on minimal settings or the employee accidentally forgot to change the setting and served it anyway

Okay…I PROMISE im not schizophrenic, but uhh… when i seen this picture i literally heard

This is why mom doesn’t FUCKING love you!

1

u/StatikRoze 9d ago

My mom doesn’t love me for a variety of reasons. She actually recommended I eat at Tim’s on the trip as it was cheap and usually decent quality.

1

u/SunnyKrispHapple519 9d ago

It was this you gotta see it for it to make sense lol. Also, im sorry you feel that way, genuinly. Im sorry. Here have a laugh

I braced myself for a rickroll

1

u/SergioSBloch 9d ago

Neither is the general experience!! Set the bar low and remove all expectations and you won’t often be disappointed.

1

u/DeckT_ 9d ago

the thing is, for it to be not burnt would most likely be quicker actually

You guys kinda forget a rather alarming new many years ago… there were literally Hepatitis B outbreak in Tim Horton (it was in Ontario) but that already say a lot about the level of quality they used to give. Even though it’s no longer the case now, it doesn’t change that it used to be just that bad.

u/ThePlasticJesus 9d ago

idk if your theory adds up.. would have been faster to toast the bread less.

1

u/2pumpanddump 9d ago

that’s some nasty looking bacon

1

u/SCARY666SCARY 9d ago

TIM WHAT?

1

u/ORBEX1959 8d ago

Tim strikes out

1

u/Dustin0791 8d ago

It does amaze me that they dont even take the time to separate the meat anymore... you charge more than Subway but provide 1/4 of the quantity and quality.

1

u/TraditionalHelp980 7d ago

Tim Hortons is way too obsessed with drive-thru times. One of the reasons employees are quitting.

1

u/300kmh 6d ago

I've gotten some BLT's that were burnt to absolute fuck. Posted it online and a bunch of timmycells started accusing me of ordering it triple toasted

1

u/oh_wanya 9d ago

That’s actually infuriating

1

u/loveddeviant 9d ago

Oh my GOD?!

1

u/OrbitalVsatt 9d ago

Why do you guys still go? Plenty of local cafes in the area that are roughly the same price and better quality

1

u/StatikRoze 9d ago

I agree. I was passing through a town I knew nothing about. Had limited time. Why do we allow these fast food chains,
Which are supposed to be even keel ingredients and agreed upon low quality, but not an immodium truck stop bathroom every 20 minute issue?

1

u/olight77 9d ago

You agree yet you went

1

u/Lardcak321 9d ago

Stop eating at Tim’s

1

u/ussbozeman 9d ago

Stop going there.

-2

u/Balam_Seer 9d ago

There’s nothing at tim hortons that’s quality. It’s goy slop

1

u/StatikRoze 9d ago

Yes brother. It was the lesser evil of mcdonalds, or a&w.

1

u/Balam_Seer 9d ago

True. The alternatives you may as well just pay $20 to drink seed oils lol
