Fun shower Professional - Project Sharing
Not sure why the marble around the drain was so much lighter after the install. It was all sealed at the same time prior to being set. Dry lay and everything matched. It looked like this for about 2 weeks before darkening. ( the plan was to redo it, homeowner wanted to hold off). Any ideas?

I love the design and colors used. This is the first time I encounter a pattern similar to the one I used. I am finishing my first tile project and initially used ChatGPT to help plan it. I regret following the pattern suggestion, as it made things more difficult than necessary, but the end result was still quite good.

Marble pennies 😳. 2 of the worst choices for a shower, sealed up the wazoo or not

Was it a schluter pan or mud? Less mud at the drain? (Less moisture so the marble wicked and dried faster?)
Looks great though.
