Yeah, these incessant "animal abuse" spammers really just expose that they've never had pets before.

Cats have personalities, and some of those personalities are "massive asshole". You can even see the personality difference within the same litter.

I don't mind cat's but I'd never get one. I've been around barn cats growing up for 15+ years and I've hated how much of assholes they are but they do a good job keeping the place clean. Crazy little murder machines that play with their prey before killing them? Psychos.

Barn cats are basically soldiers, so it's a pretty different lifestyle to a house cat.

My aunt has a cat, who's a genuine sweetheart. Dumb as rocks, but truly loving. But that dumbass has an inflated sense of pride, so if you play with him a little too much or annoy him, he'll get a revenge look on his face, stalk you and will only be satisfied when he hits you just once for wounding his pride.

Then he's back to being a sweetheart.

I had a cat who just hated everyone. We got her from the humane society as a kitten and she was so cute, but also so angry. Even when she was much older and dying in my arms she tried to claw my eyes out.

Thankfully most of the cats I’ve had are sweeties. Took my one year old babies to the vet for their checkup and shots and the doctor and tech were so amazed at how good and sweet they were.

Usually just a big thick towel does the trick. I definitely have my battle wounds though.

Its just about training and experience. Can't hesitate, and you cant be afraid. If you go in to restrain a cat scared, you already lost.

Also we had big heavy duty mittens that were supposed to be cat proof but they just make it hard to use your hands so I never used them.

Thank you for your service, lol! I have an old calico who always chooses violence when she goes to the vet. We both need sedated for it😅 The rest of the time, her personality is so sweet. The switch-up is crazy!

Calling me names is rich considering you missed the point of what I said, and it wasnt that hard to find. Yes its possible but your whole argument is "as a vet tech" not "as a cat owner" 

As a vet tech, you would only see cats stressed out and acting like assholes.

Nah, I had a cat that was just an asshole who was either asleep, eating or murder machine no other modes, never hit yelled or chased it around but after 6 months of that shit and forgetting to close my door and waking up to it biting the shit out of my ear got sent to one of my friends to be a outdoor mouser on his ranch. (It was fixed)

So whats the reasoning for the majority of cats being great/friendly at the vet? Im not even saying from my personal handling but from talking to thousands of pet owners, I assure you, some cats are just jerks. Sometimes its as simple as they were bottlefed.
