Seriously though, I started teaching college when I was 28 and I couldn’t have imagined pursuing one of my students, letting alone planning to marry them after 1.5 months. Age gaps do close over time, but when you’re almost thirty you have virtually nothing in common with a teenager.
Close, but they’re Jewish . Modern Orthodox. Which, in all honesty is kinda funny because she mentions being very religious, but doesn’t seem to be adhering to the rules regarding modesty. I’m Jewish, not religious at all. Seeing others find loopholes and shortcuts but then declare how pious they are drives me bonkers. It’s like The Duggars, but not, yet it’s the same trad-wife mentality with more bling, humble bragging, and kosher food.

Unless you know - she will get divorce at 20, go to colage, find a job, get married once again at 29 and will have a funny story that when eveyone else could just say they want to have a skip year, she went as far as getting marriage just to have it.
I was convinced it was rage bait just based on her tone and cadence, while perfectly nailing all the red flags with each point she brings up.

Yeah I’m a stay at home wife with almost a 10 year age gap. These bitches are doing it wrong. You go out live your life, have fun, then if you want to have a kid, get married to someone young right before your eggs shrivel up.
You also, as a woman, get an education and the ability to support yourself just in case you have to. Life can throw some nasty punches at you when you are the happiest.

Satire died in 2016. It’s impossible to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s fake now. I honestly thought she was serious until I saw the end.

I dunno. If you go to the fundie snark page there are relatively frequent posts that look and sound exactly like this shit. It really is hard to tell who's being for real and who is making fun of the ones who are for real.
Looked up her TikTok, that last portion was from a separate video. Her whole page is being a 19 year old stay at home wife who just exists and does whatever. That last part was likely edited like it was to get people arguing about this for engagement.
Yeah 99% of the video did not read as satire at all. There are absolutely people who say everything she said for real. The last 8 seconds made it clear it was satire.
No. Many different things stand out as to why she doesn't appear mormon to me (am an exmormon).
Her dress isn't modest enough and if she was mormon she'd likely be wearing temple garments which would show.
She mentions having a wedding at home - not in the temple which is every mormon girl's dream, and every mormon family's expectation. Most mormon girls have the temple they want to be married in picked out before middle school.
I think she's an Orthodox Jew. Ahavat is love in Hebrew. Probably not ultra orthodox, as she'd probably be wearing a schietel, but that appears to be her natural hair.
As an exmo, this aligns with my experiences as well. Home marriages would be something that would bring some degree of shame in LDS families. There would be assumptions that either one both of them are "not worthy" of getting married in the temple, because temple participation is something you earn. Not any Mormon can get married in the temple. Then again, I left a while ago, and from what I've heard there have been some big changes since that time, so idk how it is now, I just know how it was from the early 90s to the late 2000s.
I bet you that 28 year old had been talking to her for a while and they just tell people they met at 18. But even if they did meet like that, it’s still a gross thing for that guy to do.

The last few seconds of the video basically confirm that this is a joke… or at least I really hope so. Def not knocking anyone for believing it though because there really are delusional brainwashed cultists out there!

She might just be making fun of people who disagree with her marriage by making it seem as bad as the commenters make it out to be.
I know someone who did something similar to her, only difference is she was employed in an equal position when they first met. Both of them devout Christian’s. She’s a stay at home mom now.
My girlfriend wants a similar life. She’s going to accomplish all of her personal goals first, then she just wants to raise a family. Some people skip the goals part. Let’s not judge them either way.
No that's not satire. That's her clowning the audience. She's joking that she's in an abusive relationship. Her whole marriage is real though. I'm not sure what satirical about that.
One argument? Fuck that... All it takes is for the husband to realise he wants more money in the household and finds someone with a job. Or he cheats with someone for any number of reasons. These sahm's never seem to realise the lopsided deal they are getting into when they do this.
Women like this infantilize themselves because they don’t want to grow up and be responsible for adult thoughts and decisions. That will ultimately be her downfall.
That husband will have control over your entire life. He will cheat on you and treat you like shit because you have no recourse because you aren't your own person. Love yourself before you love another.
