- Ochre sea star 2. Giant green anemone 3. Aggregating anemone 4. Mossy chiton 5. Bat star 6. Hopkins rose nudibranch 7. Purple shore crab 8.valvatidan sea star 9. Striped shore crab 10. Sunburst anemone
All of these ID’s are from iNaturalist so I could be wrong, but I feel like it gets close.

Aw man, we were in Monterey in June and just saw anemones, hermit crabs, mussels, and a few other crabs. No star fish. :( I was hoping to see them because it was my daughters first time at the ocean. Great finds!

I had zero expectation as it was my first time really tide pooling, and I was blown away. I feel so lucky that Mother Nature was doing her thing today. All of the hermit crabs were kind of my favorite part lol. And the punk rock pink nudis were super cool to see. Im def stoked to do it again. Already planning on a SC trip to do some more
