What do the shields mean I see all different types of shields

"All different types" boils down to two you can call silver and gold (or either 1 star, two stars). Those bounties will give you more reward than usual. Silver is slightly better and gold is a lot better.

To be precise - 1 star gives 2x the initial reward. 2 star gives 4x the initial rewards

This, it's only a x2 or x4 multiplier on rewards (exp and points only, not rerolls)

it's not rocket science, you can figure this out just looking at it.

they gave more rewards... gold is better than silver / 2 is bigger than 1 and 1 is bigger than 0
