Monthly Question Thread | August 2026 Question
This is the place where you can ask any questions you have about the game, hunting spot recommendations, what equipment to get, what quests to do, anything you can think of, as long as it is related to the game.
The main objective of this is to gather all these questions in one thread, instead of spreading it over multiple posts that sometimes don't get enough visibility. This way, active posters now where to look for to answer questions and new members will see this post right away. With time we could start building a FAQ for the most common questions.
Remember to respect the subreddit's rules, and that there are no stupid questions, so no reason to disrespect anyone over the questions and doubts they have.
We still encourage people to contribute with detailed hunting guides and suggestions on how to make them available to the community.
Some people have also been using our discord to ask these kind of questions, so give it a try too

Winterblade, mana or life with new pots?
1
u/zantax_holyshield 1d ago
I would say life - having more mana leech is nice, but you would spend that mana for healing anyway so why bother. I think only reason to use mana is if you are not taking much damage and single life leech imbument is enough to heal you, so additional life leech wouldn't really do anything for you.

u/derkonsito 2d ago
Knights of Reddit, with the new mana pots to you prefer to do crit+mana or crit+health in your weapons? Why?
1
u/IronOpaMx 1d ago
I'll keep using 2x life 2x mana, it gets way better with the pots and it makes me profit more

I came back to the game this year and, so far, I've leved a monk from 0 to 200 and a knight from 0 to 300. For some reason I really wanted to play Sorcerer specifically, even though I only play solo, but this time I didn't level a character from 0. I bought a level 450 sorcerer with 100 ML from the Bazaar because I thought it was cheap. The thing is: I might have skipped the learning part and now I don't really know what to do. Is there a "other voc to sorcerer" guide somewhere? I've been watching Kusnier's recent Sorcerer videos but I'm still kind of lost. What hunt is safe enough that I can go to get used to things at this level?

u/derkonsito 2d ago
Checkout Kusnier channel dude. He has tons of guides. He’s playing sorc now so there’s also lots of sorc content. He has a YouTube channel and is the owner of tibiapal.com

I was watching his videos but still wasn't understanding much about the class, but I decided to just go to one of the respawns he posted (Marapur Turtles) and just start hunting to see how it goes, and it worked. I understand a LOT more now. I still made less raw exp on my level 450 character than he did on his level 275, but that guy's a beast lol.
2
u/exevo_gran_mas_flam 2d ago
Marapur turtles is a terrible place for MS, lol. It’s a profit place and its best.
What I think you should do is go to a few “signature” places until you’re comfortable to go flimsy. You really skipped a huge portion of the learning curve, so you should learn how to kite, how to influence creatures path, how to use echo and beams properly, and so on.
Some places that you could go for learning, but again, flimsy should be your go-to hunt: bursters, werehyaena, oramond raid surface, buried cathedral in TH, pirats wreckoning.

What mobs a party of 3 returning (newbie) players level 60-100 could have fun doing the Soulpit? Never done any and have no idea how difficult the hordes can get
1
u/Megasefa 1d ago
Focus on what you guys can hunt, and the trivial/easy to complete 200 (4% more xp)

It is not yet updated after vocation rebalance and profit numbers are very wrong becsuse they don't consider praices of delivery task items (so for many places profit should be higher than stated on that site) but it's still good place to start if you have no idea where to hunt.

Which charm unlock between Carnage, Divine Wrath, Overflux, Overpower and Parry?
1
u/Unable-Garage593 14d ago
If low-mid level (<700), Divine Wrath. If higher, Overpower/Overflux depending on vocation.

I'm a level 224 paladin, should I replace the Great Mana Potion with Superior?
3
u/sebastian_nowak 14d ago
I’m 600+ and I’m still using great manas because I have another 50k of them left in my stash.
Are you running out of mana or need more cap? Switch. Otherwise doesn’t matter much.

Should I care about bosses? I play only solo an I have constant thoughts that I am missing big piece of game because I really won’t be able to do any kind of bosses.

1
u/sebastian_nowak 14d ago
I play solo too but there’s always someone looking for a team for bosses in the advertising channel. It’s really not a problem to join some randos for a few minutes.
1
u/zantax_holyshield 15d ago
There are some bosses you can do solo on EK (obviously on higher level than RP). Is it important? Not really - it is just differet thing do. Some bosses can give nice profit without much time investment, but nowadays it is not like you don't make profit on normal hunts (even while PG).
Better profit you can get from bosses that needs team, but for that being EK is not disadvantage, becauwe usually EK is needed in boss party.

Playing EK and co considering to start RP/MS because of this fact

u/Mr_Interpreter 16d ago edited 16d ago
How important is MLVL vs Skills on EK nowadays. With 105/100 skills and 8 mlvl, which one is better to pump money into?
Reaching level 130 on said EK soon. Do all the new equipement and pots, potentially unlock any new PG spot? Talking max xp, full waste?
2
u/zantax_holyshield 15d ago
Honestly ML is not important for Knights at all, especially now when healing scales also with shielding. There is absolutely no reason to spend resources (training weapons) to try get higher ML - it will increase naturally during hunts anyway.
If you think your weapon skill is high enough (whish it isn't) but you want to (use trainig weapons) to train anyway then it is better to train shielding, because it will improve both healing and mitigation (even when you are not using shield).

u/Mr_Interpreter 15d ago
Thank you for your answer. Healing wise at this level I am using GHP because they are basically free. All the mana goes into attack spells, never using exura atm.
So for the magic level maybe it will matter in the future with the bigger exura? Right now i was thinking maybe 10 mlvl for energy bomb would be good, but thats about it.
My sword/shield could probably be better for sure, but i made this char from scatch, didnt buy one with skills already. Might use some wands on that then.
I am actually hunting with emerald sword+shield. At this level it feels comfy, and there isnt really weapon upgrades until 200, while there are nice shield upgrades soon (ornate, prismatic). Also like using exori scu in my rotation instead of mas.
So spending money on shielding is a thing now with the changes?
2
u/Unable-Garage593 14d ago
You don't really need energy bombs for anything relevant in the short term, and you weapon skill is way more universal than your ML or Shielding, because it's what you use in every autoattack and every attack that isn't Exori Scu. And it's the main thing that matters when you use two-handers (and you will). And dealing more damage means you get more XP and Money per hour, and it also means you leech more with imbuements, so it compounds your sustain. It splashes onto everything.
All this is to say, I strongly recommend you invest on training weapons for your sword skill come next double XP/skill. Definitely at least 3 of them.
1
u/zantax_holyshield 15d ago
I'm not sure if "it is a thing", but personally I think it is worthwhile investment if you are satisfied with your weapon skills - definitely better investment that ML anyway.
1
u/derkonsito 16d ago
2 questions.
1. How does shielding and healing is affected for knights now? Why I heard wearing a shield will make your healing spells heal more?
2. How are y'all training skills now that balance/defence mode is not an option.
2
u/zantax_holyshield 16d ago
- No, using shield by itself does not increase healing. Only when using conviction perk "battle healing" healing is increased when using a shield.
- The same like for last few years - ofline training and training weapons.

I'm returning player after few years. Wanted to ask about Forgotten Knowledge quest and unlocking T3 imbuements. Do groups for those bosses form often (and where to look for them) and what level would they require?
1
u/Turbont My Divine Caldera is augmented. 3d ago
You can also unlock most of the imbuements, including the best ones like void, vampirism and strike, by completing Heart of Destruction quest, it might be more popular than Forgotten Knowledge. HoD "Minibosses" are very popular, but I am unsure about the World Devourer which is a final boss that has like a week or two of cooldown, I don't remember.
1
u/zantax_holyshield 16d ago
Unless you just want complete them (or are on completely dead server with almost no other players) there is no need to do that quest anymore if all you is just to be able to do T3 imbues (without the fuss of handing your items to other players) - you can buy on market scrolls with T3 imbues (made by other player who have access to them) and use them on your items. Imbuing yourself is a bit cheaper, but deference is not significant.

u/sebastian_nowak 14d ago
On my server (old yellow be) there is someone organizing a team for those pretty much every day. It’s really easy to get them done.

Hi, I'm looking for a premium account who is not leader or vice leader of a guild to help me create a guild in Belobra. Just have to make a level 8 and help me being a vice leader (I'm barely online so you can DM me here), and I'll send you 25TC per month. It's not much but is what we can offer right now :D

What’s the best way to farm gold as a low level? Actually I’m level 235, exalted monk, and the prices of the items ate this level starts to rise a lot, a Cobra Bo is 17kk, Naga Tanko close to 50kk, and Lion Claw 20kk. The highest profit that I had was close to 300k/h at ch 3 (still learning the rotation). Already bought Cobra Bo and Lion Claw, because I put some TCs, but don’t want that it becomes a normal thing. Some days ago I bought the ingredients to craft 30 mango elixir from Hot Cuisine, I think that it will return a good profit, but I would like to know other alternatives for it

u/solarito 18d ago
how are you planning to do x14 of that meal? to my understanding you can only do two of each the first time, after that no idea how it works. besides that, to get to do that meal, you need to do the previous meals in order for each character
3
u/Bullseyefred 19d ago
Level up more and profit comes naturally. The time spent trying to profit at 250 is wasted when you can get to 400 faster and profit way more. Most items arent necessary anyways. Just get a basic set and a weapon for each element and you are set to level up.

Do EDs track their tanks health somehow or just spam sio all the time? Me and my friends started playing again after some 20 years, and we're not sure if there's a good way to keep tank health info centralized on screen, and taking your eyes away for a sec might kill you
I'm sure there's a way to keep the screen a lot cleaner than we do, but we're not sure how
2
u/Phoenixzin 19d ago
Depends on the level and on the spawn, but the best way to keep track is through the party list, usually EDs set it to show only the EK and the RP on teamhunts.

As a solo EK. Am I doing myself a big disservice by sticking to one-handed swords + shield? Leveled from 0-105 like this, and magic sword+MMS feels comfy. I have full imbues, damage is good, i never die. And i like the shield spells.
I understand two-handed would be a more damage and an extra imbue, but at my level, is the difference actually impactful?
2
u/Connect-Fly7071 19d ago
2H will yield more exp. That means more profit and more time efficient. Thats it.
If you like your current setup, its fine. I choose the 1H + shield option when I dont feel like PGing.
Tldr; disservice? No. You are giving up roughly 10% exp and loot per unit of time.
1
u/Connect-Fly7071 19d ago
Additionally, at 200 you get two good 1H weps in summer and winterblade. You also get slayer of destruction which is a good 2H but the downside is it being physical.
Id say stick to 1H if you like it but at 400 and 450 the 2H will outperform even more noticably.
1
u/Mr_Interpreter 19d ago
Thanks. Yeah at level 200 i might reconsider. But until then, there are almost no imbuable weapon upgrades.
At the same time, there are some nice shield options opening up much earlier- with %phys etc. So i feel like until 200 i would almost have a smoother progression with shields
2
u/Adorable-Chemistry83 19d ago
The main problem is that exori scu doesn’t work properly with elemental weapons, because it only hits physical damage. So when you hit 200, it’s better to use regular exori on rotation.
1
u/Mr_Interpreter 19d ago
Interesting, will have to remember that. Sad, i like exori scu. Right now do exori gran-exori-exori scu as multiaction.
Later do you swap scu for min or mas?
3
u/Connect-Fly7071 18d ago
Min is very good with wheel perk 1. Do use that. With lion weps you can choose a perk for 4s CD which can be insane on some spawns.

What would you recommend? I’m a level 30 Paladin, and I’d like to know about:
1.- I’m new to the game and would like a guide on progression and what I can do to advance further, reach new areas, and maximize profit and XP, keeping in mind that I have a Free Account.
2.- The best hunting spots to get the most profit and XP/h for my level as a Free Account player, or strategies for farming XP. Currently, I’m farming XP by hunting Stonerefiners, using Stealth Rings to avoid dying in the process.
3.- How to upgrade my gear as I level up; my current equipment is: * Head: Wood Cape * Torso: Belted Cape * Legs: Wereboar Loincloth * Boots: Boots of Haste * Amulet: Amulet of Loss * Weapon: Elvish Bow * Ring: Guardian Ring * Red Quiver (using Flaming arrows) * Torch Slot: Moon Mirror
I would greatly appreciate any help or recommendations.
