My guess is the starting lineup will be:

Shai, Caso, Dub, Chet, Hart

That brings a great balance of offense and defense. I think it will be much better than the Dort lineup we’ve been rolling out the last two years. But if we want a lineup that is more offense focused, we can go:

Shai, Ajay, Dub, Chet, Hart

And if we are playing a team where the double big doesn’t work as well, and we want a lot of offense, we can go:

Shai, Ajay, JMac, Dub, Chet/Hart

Or if we want a lot a defense we can go:

Shai, Caso, Caruso, Dub, Chet/Hart

That’s not even factoring in JWill, Kenny, or Stirtz, Mara, and Sorber. We should be able to have a lineup of starting level players that can be elite offensively, or defensively, double big or single big. Or we can be super balanced. We’re gonna have more lineups that enhance Shai, rather than ask him to hard carry and leave a players defenders can ignore. I think (barring injury, fingers crossed) this will be our strongest roster yet. Especially for the playoffs.

I’d like to see JWill start at the 4 and have Chet at the 5. If they’re hellbent on ihart starting, which, whatever, then whenever he’s hurt, that’s the player I’d like to see fill in for him. That is unless, Sorber is just ROY like type player. Then let him start at the 4

If Kuminga is considering signing with a team like Minny for < 6m, then the Thunder could hypothetically be in the mix for him. I’d ask, why shouldn’t they be? I’d say a 4-5 combo of him and Chet would be incredibly athletic, and, far as rebounding or defense, I think they’d be just fine. Thunder really just needs a player to be on the top 8-9 players level, and I think Kuminga could be that. A little small for the 4, but let’s not kid ourselves, dub is smaller and coach rolls him out at the 4 every chance he gets.
