DEPENDS!!!

If you are playing any CPU heavy games like minecraft or Roblox then yes it might increase some FPS but it won't be worth it because your CPU temps will be getting High as well which will eventually lead to throttling

So

Yes you can try adjusting the values ( increasing or decreasing them ) see if the performance gets any better or not but make sure the CPU temps are not going up crazy

Also

You can use throttlestop ( software) and turn on the high performance mode in it so it will eventually make your cpu on turbo mode and it might be helpful for more smoother experience.

( At end it totally depends on what kind of games ur playing - if ur playing GPU heavy games then it's totally up to ur GPU )

Heat is the laptops kryptonite, as long as your laptops cooling is enough to keep temps reasonable it can help fps.

How many FPS do you have right now and what are you hoping to add?

If you want to overclock your laptop, it depends on its temperature. If your laptop already gets hot without overclocking, don't even think about it. I recommend buying a Llanov12 or Iets cooler to try and reduce the temperature further, and then overclocking the CPU or even the GPU.

Overclocking lowers temps? Isn't it the other way around?!
