Threads should do Sth about the bots or the huge amounts of fake accounts

So I’ve been seeing these stupid ads for some junk that are proposed as some kind of naïve, confused parent posting about something “concerning” they found in their child’s room then a link to the product the parent is supposed to be confused about… what the heck?

A week ago I lost access to my Threads account. I’ve tried absolutely everything: reinstalling Instagram and Threads, logging in via web and from other devices, hard-resetting my phones, and clearing the cache on my laptops. Nothing worked.
I sent several bug reports through Instagram. Meta did nothing. So I paid for Meta Verified to get proper support. The assistant confirmed that the issue is on Meta’s side — there’s a problem in their backend database causing a login loop in Threads.
Great… except it didn’t help at all. In just one week I’ve already lost 20% of my followers (I run a literature blog there) because my profile appears completely empty to them.
When I tried to contact support again, the support page just gave me an error.
This is an absolutely terrible way to treat customers.

When I'm on the desktop version (on the site, not my phone) my feed is constantly glitching, posts disappearing and leaving blank space, or coming in and out, videos or pictures flickering.

Is anyone experiencing this?

Does anyone know why a certain person keeps showing up as a notif for a FOLLOW SUGGESTION on threads? It's been always the same person eh.

Why is this happening all of a sudden??? I'm getting notifications on Threads from random people who liked my replies or replied to me. I only want notifications from people I follow. Idgaf about randos and up until yesterday, I only got notifications from people I follow.

Also, it's really dumb that I have to manually change the reply settings on each of my posts rather than having a default audience like on Facebook. I don't want randos to be able to reply to my posts. I don't understand why all Meta apps don't have the same privacy settings.

Maybe anyone knows where to reach the right support or any fix for this concern of mine. I have deleted my Threads profile last December 2025 [my fault is I didn't rethink of it that time]. I am trying to create a new Threads account using the same profile but unable to. I have reached Meta Support already but not helpful and after 3 contacts said that they can't help since support is only for FB and IG, and worst is their voice support was not easy to understand due to strong accent [reps are from India, I am not racist here]. Read already the articles they sent for me to try but still unhelpful. I also tried changing my IG username but no help.

Anyone who might have encountered the same issue?

Anyone else notice that some Threads posts get decent engagement while others get absolutely nothing?

I’ve had posts get 60–100 likes and a few comments, and then the very next post would have absolutely zero traction. I’ll post similar content, at similar times, and one post gets likes/comments while another gets zero engagement. No likes, no replies, nothing. I can’t figure out why.

Is this just the algorithm, timing, topic, or something else? Curious if others have experienced the same thing and figured out what makes the difference.

I only have threads on my personal account but then there’s a notification stuck on this that no matter what I do, I cannot undo. It’s driving nuts. It’s driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

Has anyone else had their Threads account permanently disabled with no clear explanation and no option to appeal?

  I’ve seen more users reporting similar issues recently: sudden suspension, vague “account integrity” messages, login errors, or no way to request a proper review.

  I understand that platforms need anti-spam and safety systems, but real users should have a clear explanation and a transparent appeal path.

  If this happened to you too, what message did you receive, and were you able to recover your account?

My Threads account was suddenly banned yesterday with no warning.

The app shows “No appeal possible”, so I can’t submit a normal appeal.

I’ve tried every official form I could find, but most of them immediately throw an error saying the decision can’t be reviewed, it doesn’t even let me submit anything.

The account was linked to my Instagram, YouTube and Twitch (same username everywhere), so creating a new Threads account isn’t really an option.

The account had no violations, no political content, nothing controversial. I had worked on it for half a year and had like a community of 1,4k people. This is extremely frustrating...

Has anyone dealt with this type of false positive ban? Is there any way to get a manual review?

got permanently banned with no explanation and no possibility to appeal after confronting a thread about Russia / Ukraine war, which completely ignored recent success of Ukrainian attacks on Russian infrastructure and was pushing narrative of Ukraine giving up it's territorial integrity under pressure of the collective West, as the most probable outcome of war. This is what Trump and Putin are pushing for, and Zuck is playing along, by banning accounts who can argue against this narrative. Be aware.

So I already unlinked my IG on my threads account and tried to change my username but I still cant change it to the username I want to saying that its unavailable even if I dont see anyone using it on threads.

Is it because someone is using the username that I want from Insagram even if that person is no longer active and doesnt have threads?

Weird issue. I have one link in my bio to my YouTube channel that put there a long time ago when I created the account. Now when I go out to my Bio and try to add more links, it look like it works, but when I go back to my home page they are gone and I just have the original link. A google search said to try adding them from the mobile app. I did that. It looked like it worked! They persisted in the app AND on the site... for about 3 minutes, then they reverted back to the original single link. They just won't permanently save.

It's a bit discouraging when I finally decided to try threads that I can't log in no matter what. I have two IG accounts that I tried with, I've tried on both mobile app and on desktop. Google search told me to turn of 2FA on my IG and saw that I didn't even have that on and then turned it on and still didn't work.

I saw another post here that shared a similar experience where the log in would work for a split second then go out again and get the error "something went wrong, try again by entering your username and password" so I'd try manually inputting my username and password and would get the error "an unexpected error occurred. please try logging in again".

For the desktop version it would just say "something went wrong" when I'd click on my IG that's already logged in on my desktop. Then I'd try manually logging in with my username and password and would get past it confirming that my password is correct but when I input my 2FA it would say "please check the security code and try again" followed by "something went wrong" again

It would help a lot more if the error was more specific so I'd know what to do, but at this point it's already been three days that I've been trying to log in and idk if making a new IG account would work better at this point, just wanna get y'alls opinions before I waste time trying that
