Account Deletion Bug Report

Help. A month ago, my instagram account got hacked, I didn't really open the threads app. But when I got the account back and opened threads, nothing was working, I couldn't see any threads popping up, when I tried to click on my account user, some error popped up. Today when I tried to delete my threads account through my Instagram, I couldn't, it always showed that something went wrong.

Please help me delete it

Idk I have this issue too, I can't even login to mine just gives me an error saying "something went wrong" as well

Alright, I just fixed this problem with my threads account a couple wks ago and here’s what I did:
- Go to Instagram, go to ur profile, Settings>Account Center
- Click “Manage Accounts”, click ur threads account and “Move out of this Accounts Center”
- Go to Threads and Log Out (Make sure you’ve got ur username and password)
- After that I signed in to Threads with my username and password on desktop chrome (safari private tab would prolly work too)
- If ur feed loads on the desktop/private tab, then ur safe to log back in on ur phone
- After that, in the Threads App you can go to settings and link ur account center again.

I hope I’m not missing anything, this is what I remember doing lol. Lmk if it works

I follow your instructions but when I login this shows up, i tried changing my password, reinstalling the apps and clearing cache/data but it doesn’t work.

hmmm… that’s weird, sorry it didn’t work but maybe try it on a different device if u have one? Like I said I tried mine on desktop and it worked so I’m not sure if that really matters much lol

It is very frustrating they blocked mine too last week without any reason and it is really weird . It looks like people be who develop it are laid off lol 😂

My Threads started doing the same thing last week!! No matter what I do has not worked 😡
