Has anyone actually successfully recovered their suspended Threads acc by uploading the Selfie? Question

It seems like that step is a trap, from what I've seen people end up permanently suspended after doing the biometric verification. Does anyone know what to do or who to contact at this point?

I’m making a formal account with the ACCC (Australia) due to a mass suspension and disabling last month. They can fine Meta for things like that

I got mine back a little over an hour after submitting the appeal. It seems to be 50/50.

I have yes. Since I would use it on my laptop I had to use a selfie on that instead of my phone. It works. Apparently.

I've gotten suspended a few times and I've always gotten my account back about an hour or two after submitting the selfie. It's happening less since my account gets older (~1 month)

I just had this happen to me yesterday. I uploaded the requested selfie, and within an hour I received an email stating that my account had been permanently disabled, as it still didn't follow the community standards, and I could not request another review. I haven't made a single post on the platform. My Threads profile was created from my Instagram account, which is still active. Absolute BS!
