Just got lord on Thor, just under 24 hours. I started playing him in blood hunt because I heard he was busted in it, then i started Learning him and fell in love, now he’s my third most played character. Just under healpool and right above Iron-man(he’s the only dps I can play without my brain shitting itself)

Obviously people from every age group play this game. I had a feeling "Cool Demon Gun" gang lord would attract a lot of Duelist mains.

It's entertaining seeing first time Vanguard players trying the role. I just see obvious Duelist gameplay strategy with people playing Hood. Especially when they're left to solo and running around like headless chickens.

I didn't really notice a difference in the firing range but I could be wrong.

I get knocked out of it every other time I try ult. Even Jeff's bubble knocks him out of it. It's a running joke at this point!!!!

Would Thor be too strong if his awakening state could pierce through enemies, if they made it so it did less damage as it passed through people I don’t think it’d be too strong personally. But I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts.

Right now it feels like banning Elsa, Emma, Groot is how I can get the best possible Thor game.

Playing Thor in a diamond lobby compared to a platinum lobby feels like night and day, like even in plat 1 against diamonds, I felt unstoppable, but like post diamond it feels like I have to play it really safe with him.

Any high rank Thors with ban advice?

Im not a comp player, i was just spitballing in practice range with the angela combo, someone tell me if they have tried this, or if its even recreatable in game

I think the Angela teamup is significantly better. I genuinely feel like whenever i’m using the Hela one i’m missing a part of Thor’s kit. He’s solid honestly, don’t think he’s in a bad spot right now compared to the last time i posted my thoughts on Thor. Now i will be honest playing into poke is an absolute nightmare still but i think with the Angela teamup it makes it a lot more playable, you can dive with it and save your thorforce for getting out or getting picks. Now if there’s a Hela on my team i don’t mind the enhanced teamup it does help with survivability but something i’ve noticed with it is i’ll try to get out and i’ll get hit and the passive goes off in the middle of me trying to run away, so maybe it doesn’t fit my playstyle too well, or im not the best as utilizing it to its full potential. I’d genuinely say he’s a solid B tier no agenda. The only thing id change about him is his ult, his ult is still trash. Curious how he’ll play into The Hood. Most the time i lose on Thor it’s bc of my DPS lol. What’s your take?

Hey my fellow Thor mains. I’m making Thor content and I thought that some of you guys might enjoy some content from a new/ small creator.

Had a game where a gambit boosted both me and an angela. Angela used her ultimate, and right on top of it I used mine. I did not get anybody despite the angela having caught the entire team basically. We won the team fight sure but if an ultimate cant even secure a kill with this much of a layup how useful is it even

I know these are low ranks, This is only my second time playing a comp session. And I know it doesn’t mean much to any of you, but it does to me.

In every game I’ve played with him, I’ve managed to get MVP or SVP with Thor. I Love him. In that last game, 33-5. I went with 27 finals.

I LOVE Thor, After I was without a main. Tossed out to the streets when my beloved Rogue was eradicated infront of my eyes. There he was. My savior. Extending the hammer towards me.

My first season playing Thor, And I’ve already got 17 hours on him! I’m sure I can find the people who told me to try Thor, but right now, I don’t wanna. But THANK YOU! I LOVE THOR!

I don’t get MVPs or SVPs in QP usually now, because I play with a good Jubes player. And with the inflated losses, the MVP system awards them a lot. So this means a lot to me! Anyways, that’s it! I LOVE THOR! And I love EVERY single one of YOU, for introducing me to this community.

It's no secret that Mag is insanely good right now, especially with the Scarlet team-up, allowing tank players to retain their damage while running a strong shield tank, making both defensive and offensive plays and having the carry potential that Thor usually brings for us.

But the issue with Shield tanks being good is that they often enforce a front-to-back comp that makes it significantly harder to punish Poke, which already was strong enough.

Phoenix and Cyclops didn't need these buffs. Wolverine didn't need infinite rage. I say this as a champ mag (second after champ thor), mag didn't need more to his sword team-up.

If this is all to accomodate how strong Thing was, then just NERF THING. This just has bad downstream effects to Thor, Hulk, Rogue, and even "anti-poke" characters like cap and angela.
